Just when you thought it was over- it wasn't.

The same geologic forces that caused biblical damage in Japan, perhaps has ruptured whatever tenuous seal as had been placed on the Macondo well by those very important people who screwed up the gulf in the first place and no one has been charged or has even gone to jail yet.

Now as the BP explanatory machine flips to full on exculpatory mode, oil begins gushing to the surface and washing ashore in Grand Isle, uh-gin!

Of course at this point all those wearied officials in officialdom are prepared to say, are prepared to call it, is "a substance" as if they were piercing ancient magnetite boulders on mars. Other curiously reminiscent modifiers are making their way to the verbal stage as well "a sheen" and "light coating" of said "substance."

However there are reports that a full on slick is five miles wide and extends from three miles off Grand Isle pointing just as curiously to the direction of you know where.

The We Agree Commercial

Nothing is more heinous than the Chevron "we agree" commercial, which if you watch, you assume the pair, one a Chevron engineer named Steve, and the other a teacher, are either dating or thinking about it.

But listen to what he is saying. She speaks and he shakes his head then sloughs off with the bland non-starter "renewable energy is vital to our planet."

She"you hear about alternative energy wind, solar algae..."

He: " I think it has to work on a big scale and I think it's got to be affordable (smirk? Did he smirk there? a little shrug thrown in? What?)"

She: " so, where are they?"

He "I think it has to work in the real world. We're investing millions in solar and biolfuel..."

(Did he say millions, wow, like how many? One or is it two million? Is it two whole million dollars? Is that, like, total or, what? Is that like how much in the last ten years? Like, two whole million? Wow, you can buy an apartment in Venice Beach for that. Gosh!)

Okay? But, what? What's the end result Steve? Goddamnit Steve? What? C'mon man! Tell me something!

Those who read this page know we're pretty passionate about it.

We want big oil stopped,: now. Big oil has dragged us into wars, and has fueled a runaway defense industry both of which are destroying us. Oil is destroying our Constitution which some of us claim to love. It is destroying our image abroad.

Aside example: I went to Ireland in 2007 - Ireland for Chrissakes! - and some folks were a bit stand offish with us because we were American. IRISH AMERICANS! Okay, Fucking Ireland!? They hate us in IRELAND now!? When you are hated by Irish people, who may be blood relatives for all you know, you know it's bad! Oh, there's a problem! Especially when some of them hate you more than they hate the British!

Rick Scott beamed into our political landscape as if sent to us here, in Florida, from Mars. He even looks like he's from another planet. He claims to have been a resident for the required seven years. Even harder to dispute than the President's birth certificate.

We all know the story, how he ran Colombia HCA; how that company was charged in one of the biggest Medicare fraud cases in fuh-hucking HISTORY! But, Rick managed to bail out before the S-house came tumbling down. He wasn't even indicted.

Feel better? Good. Now, continuing. Rick has shown himself to be all about two things, 1. Money, and 2. furthering the political aspirations of one Rick Scott.

We can safely predict he will ally himself with 1. Big Defense. 2. Big Oil 3. Big Medicine/Pharma/ Insurance and 4. Big corporate privatized corrections and security.

He is already set his sights on Washington D.C. , either a senate seat or the White House, and so he needs to start building his war chest now. And that means, boys and girls, he needs to begin making those decisions, that will make his face sweet like candy, to those corporate interests.

In short he will whore the resources of this state and deregulate its environment, in order to make that happen. I predict he will not care if he leaves ruin in his wake. Such people seldom do.

Why should you give a damn? Well, as we are finding out, all water in the Gulf is connected. Yes, and that water is also connected to all water in the Atlantic Ocean, and that water also impacts the wordwide current systems and the world's ecology... as we are finding out.

These people, and I am talking about Big Oil here, simply will not be happy until they have turned the Gulf of Mexico into their own private, black pool of filth, from which to extract oil. They don't view the Gulf as anything but resource to do precisely that.

Do you fish? F U! It isn't about that. It's about the oil.

Do you surf? Same answer.

How about kayaking? You get the drill.

Each state along the Gulf needs to whore itself in unison for their plans to work.

One of the reasons Charlie Crist was shown the door was his inability to sell Florida out to the Big Oil interests. Today he and former gubinatorial candidate Alex Sink are attempting to make an oil drilling ban part of the state's constitution.

Governor RILAB (Run it Like a Business) is already mush mouthing his waning support for such a measure, issuing caveats that drilling can be safe, and "we'll even use Solar" you know, that bullshit. As if solar were the impossible red headed stepchild.

By the way, I think we need to ask the Arnesans how they feel about drilling being safe? How about all the people who fish for shrimp, oysters, and so on around Louisiana? How do they feel about further assurances that drilling for oil offshore, especially in the deep offshore, is safe?

It is for these reasons we must unify. We must watch every damned thing Rick Scott does. These efforts are connected. It is for these reasons I need you to go to Rick Scott Watch and press "like" That's all I am asking you to do for the moment.

No one doing this loves Florida more than I do. No one who opposes Big Oil knows more about this state, its waters, and its environment, than I do. I have a degree in oceanography from Florida Tech. I spent my formative years diving in the keys, I surf at least twice a week and I was newspaper reporter for the better part of a decade. I also taught chemistry, oceanography and math to high school students and I hate what these damned budget cuts are also doing to education.

Ah, and they're so sexy, these people quietly working "behind the scenes" to "make a brighter tomorrow." Damn! Can I work on her team?

Claims Czar Ken Feinberg's metamorphosis

A Louisiana U.S. District Court judge ruled yesterday that Gulf Coast Claims Czar and attorney Ken Feinberg, gosh golly, can't really call himself impartial from BP since his firm is paid $850,000 a month for his services. Though the judge didn't order strong-arm tactics used to prevent future lawsuits, to stop.

Anyhoo, let's see if we can sense a change of tone in Mr. Feinberg take hold through time lapse YouTubery.

You say you have documents pertaining to BP, other oil companies, and the American government. Then, nothing. Poof. You're gone. Not a peep follows.

You see, sometimes I really admire what you've done; I consider you downright heroic. Then at other times, I think maybe you're a bit of a poser. A little man with a toy gun.

Which are you?

The information you say belongs to the world? Then why do you withhold it, if indeed it truly exists? Don't wait. Don't mince. Let it go. We need that information. We need to shake it like a fist in the faces of our corrupt governments, worldwide.

You've said it yourself, no matter how you got it, it doesn't belong to you. You said it just before the camera flashed, when you looked so serious and humble. A few flashes on though, and we could see it was all getting to you. The cover of this magazine and that. All the sudden your a personality; a bit of avant garde humor like Andy Warhol. A little boy with a secret.

Seriously, man, you can't expect to prance around like a rock star and call yourself a great humanitarian as well, can you? You can't have it both ways. It doesn't work like that.

I'll give you an example of what I am talking about. Put Gandhi in your shoes. What would he do, or perhaps Martin Luther King Jr.? Let the scenario play a bit. Now picture them. Are they behaving as you are doing now? Are they preening for cameras when there is real and vital truth that needs to be shared, or are the quietly just doing it?

There's a BP on every corner in my town. Every day I go about my business surrounded by the offending green and yellow signs. They are everywhere now. Look, they've opened another even as I was boycotting. And here's another and another. Bloody monopoly is what they're building, while they're moaning about losing money, boo-hoo, to their oil spill.

I'm no different than the next guy in whatever town, in Australia, in the UK or in the United States. These oil companies are ubiquitous, and there's none more so than BP, a worldwide mega conglomerate. It's note even really British anymore, is it. It's become something more than that, something monstrous and ugly. More powerful than the British Raj ever was, populated in the upper realms by the worst sort of pencil pushers. Nothing heroic about steamrolling over "the little people" then feigning like you'll make them whole again. And it's not just here in the hated USA is it. They've moved on to your neck of the woods: Australia. How do you like them apples?

I'll level with you mate, I would really like to know what these guys are up to behind the scenes. You know what I mean?

This firm freaking OWNS my Pentagon, my congress people, my president, for Chrissakes. They OWN the war! They and others like them keep priming the pump and supplying the gas. Isn't this precisely what you're on about? The injustice and so on? Directly or indirectly these firms are killing our children, Australian, British, America, Iraqi... Killing us. They are polluting our collective environment, and they simply don't give a fuck, because they are rock stars too, baby.

They're the reason, along with all the other oil barons, the world hates my nation's everlasting guts. They're the reason why fossil fuels are always chosen as the way to go over a fledgling solar industry that, ah shucks, just never quite seems to get off the ground.

So don't trivialize what's happening. Release what you know, now. If you don't, God, or Karma, or whatever you want to call it will come knocking. And it will not be pleased.

No one saying you can't enjoy the ride you're on. Go for it. Live it up. Lap it up. Love it. But nothing excuses you from the duty of disseminating that information that just might change the world for the better. If indeed you really do have it.

Karma has placed you where you are today for a reason.

Don't screw it up. Tell us what you know.

BP Begins Paying Dividends AGAIN!!!

Wake up sleepy head!!

Day before yesterday we heard news that BP's fourth quarter net income was $5.6 billion, over $4.3 billion, same quarter, previous year, because of recent high prices for oil.

Big surprise here is that we are surprised at high oil prices as we approach the presidential election cycle again and a busy, soft recovery holiday season. (They are all gouging us to get their money back)

Thus, BP are making more money this year over last year, during the same time frame.

That news didn't sit well out there in opinion land.

So today we learn via gigantic splash "boo hoo" big bad BP had a net loss over the entire year of some $5 billion. Essentially the same number, different context. The unwary observer might not know what in hell to think. Which is rather the point of modern media, anyway, to generate a confusing shell game. Mission accomplished.

The net loss comes, according to CNN, after booking $41 billion in damages and reparations, expenses along the Gulf Coast due to their oil spill.

Boo hoo. Poor dears.

But CNN again fails to mention that the $20 billion escrow, part of the write down, is fungible just as their commodity is.

That means it is a set-aside in theory, on the books. But, it isn't an account that is filled, sitting there waiting for sums to be withdrawn from it. No. It is a "pledge" administrated by a paid employee Ken Feinberg who states that only half of this $20 billion - that being $10! - should suffice for total reparations to oil spill victims.

So, do these numbers really mean anything? Is BP, boo hoo, actually losing money?

Not likely. In fact, the loss on paper surely enables the oil giant to ask for an ungodly reduction in taxes all round.

And is BP hurting from all this?

Not nearly enough, apparently.

Witness the fact (and funny ole world, innit?) that BP has quietly begun paying dividends again. It made huge news months back that BP shareholders were still getting paid dividends - essentially bribed with gifts to stick around, or profiting from doom, depending on your point of view - for owning shares of the oil giant.

This didn't sit well with public opinion either and so, those payments stopped until the mess was sorted out. Well, with the release of the Boo Hoo news, there was the simultaneous, ever so quiet announcement that dividends would resume, albeit at only half the margin experienced by lucky shareholders before the oil spill.

Note that the $5 billion net loss isn't so great on paper as to disrupt BPs recent stock value appreciably. Just enough so some of us who are watching should feel some sense of relief that at the very least BP felt their own egregious negligence in the pocket book.

In my view, not nearly enough.

This company needs to be made an example of. A reduction of stock value of 0.3 percent on the news of a year to year loss, and a $41 billion write down, is little more than a speed bump.

This is a company that takes in $240 billion annually. It operates at a net operating profit year to year of $33 billion. It lists $0 spent in research and development in this report. Research and development into safer operations? Can this be right?

What can we do? Urge everyone you know to STOP using BP gas stations. Shame them using whatever techniques you have at your disposal.

The rinky dink commission is apparently, all we the people are going to get in the form of justice for this oil spill. People have experienced massive health issues, their businesses have been wiped out, the environment has suffered and incalculable calamity.

The government officials who sold their positions haven't even been fired.

To date not one criminal charge has been filed, not even for negligence.

When Bob Graham says it's okay to open up drilling again in the Gulf of Mexico as long as the little chillins are good and the government "gosh golly" looks into ways of making things safe again, meanwhile people with legitimate claims are being ground down with innumerable hassle and paperwork, these are roadsigns that NOTHING IS BEING DONE.

The only legal weapon that remains is a boycott deterrence for other companies to learn from.

Now is the time to squeeze BP

Machiavelli said it best: there is very little difference between a problem and an opportunity.

That being said, what have we here with the Egypt situation?

An opportunity. Right now oil prices are rising. Why? Because Egypt contains both the Suez canal and the pipeline connecting the Saudi oil fields to tanker supply lines through the Mediterranean Sea. Without these two crucial elements, said tankers must travel some 6,000 miles out of their way to make the same deliveries.

Thus, oil giant BP has already begun gouging the consumer in addition to the rising price of oil attached to the futures market of that commodity. Do you love it? It was also recently announced BP had posted record profits due to inflated prices.

Think back to the days when the Big Oil apologists were urging you not to boycott BP because the oil giant wouldn't be able to pay reparations to the Gulf Coast. Witness how they have bought off the process through Ken Feinberg, who thinks BP should skate on half the tab.

The only way to combat rising prices is to select one oil company and boycott the shit out of that one producer, or retailer, thereby forcing the others to come down in price to compete with it.

You didn't create the situation in Egypt, at least not directly. But there's no excuse for you NOT to use it to your advantage. The best defense is a good offense. Go on the attack against BP because you can bet your ass they are going on the attack against you, the end user.

It's not enough anymore to simply stop using BP yourself. It's time you got out, got aggressive and urged others not to as well.

Who said that? John F. Kennedy.

President Barrack Obama at the very least, now has put a time-table on a Clean Energy Bill becoming the reality of a bright shiny new future. Or was he saying the bill would be passed by 2035, or would it just make it through the house at that point?

History recap: "Clean energy! Solar power!"

I feel confident that somewhere in the speeches of George Washington can be found a snippet of a promise or two about clean energy.

This has become embedded within the tradition of the State of the Union Address; the nod to self sustaining, clean and reliable energy for the future that does not depend on a resource that causes so many wars and heartache as well as the release of so much greenhouse gas.
Trouble is, energy is life. You can't grow or transport food without it. You can't stay alive in winter, and in some places during summer, sans that stuff which makes it.

Oil.

Gasoline, and oil. Oil is found at certain depths pressures in the rock strata. It only happens after millions of years of time which can't be recreated in a lab. Thus, there's only so much of it.

You can't ask Jesus to change this fact. You can't call it a Liberal or a commie or a socialist or hint that this fact isn't Christian, or that it is unpatriotic.

And most assuredly, if you wish to understand this resource - very inconvenient for some to admit - you have to accept that the world is a good bit older than 4,000 years.

The "only so much of it" nature of this stuff is what's killing us. Because before the greenhouse gas does the rest we will run out of it. And since we have not planned for this, there will be chaos.

It'ls like a drug that way.

The hydrocarbon molecule is just so damned good at making energy. Long flowing chains of hydrogen and carbon and a few oxygens thrown in for good measure. Carbon can bond at four places. It can triple bond with itself, double bond with oxygen, if memory serves. Carbon bonds, when they break, release a lot of energy. Thereforethe combustion of long flowing chains of hydrocarbons as is found in gasoline is a very efficient explosion, doing more work than coal, or alcohol or synthetic or bio-fuel.

Well, scratch that: gasoline, light sweet crude, (oooh baby) ARE biofuels, in that they came from living matter. Only, they have been given that sweet essence of time and deep pressure and simmering heat so that those long chains can form.

Imagine nature creating a Barry White song, and all the little chains hooking up and the song going on and on. Beautiful really.

Between now and 2035, when Obama has set forth his mandated time for clean energy, absolutely NO new light sweet crude will have been created by nature. In fact, if you took that time and raised it to the power of 8?.....no new light sweet crude will have been created. Not enough time.

But, the energy needs of the world will have exploded exponentially.

So when Rep. Paul Ryan, and Rep. Michelle Bachman talk about "job killing" proposals for clean energy, really listen to what they are saying.

Sure, they'll talk about the flag, they'll say "God Bless America" they might even quote scripture. But that isn't a plan.

Peak oil is what they call it; concerned scientists who think that owing to finite nature of the juice from the ground, there comes a point where we have drank up half of it already. That we can pour more and more money into digging deeper and deeper and in different places but still, we won't be able to get anymore out, that the end of the curve approaches. Can't get blood from a stone.

Some said in 1986 Peal Oil was here. Some said it happened in the late 1990s. Some say it's here now.

No matter. The science is pretty sound and in the geologic time frame, 1986 the late 1990s and 2011, are all essentially the same time.

So, whats the move?

Well yeah, we've got to get on that, like the president says. Oh hell yeah. Let's do that. Let's DO exactly THAT, as in NOW!

Errr, back up. Who are we talking about?

More than half the people in that room, including President Barrack Obama, have taken money from the oil lobby, which is why, uh-gin, the mention of clean energy gained a smattering of feigned delayed applause which lasted precisely .7 seconds. Don't bother running the tape, I checked. Just over half a second.

Oil lobby folks want you to go right on believing, just like that Journey song, that somehow everything is gonna be alright. They want education budgets cut nationwide, so that smart young chillin' never get edumaketed enough to see what's going on.

They want you to go right on believing the world is 4000 years old and that God invented the V-8 so that man could slurp up just as much damned gas as he wanted to.

Why?

Because THEY WANT the end of the curve to come. Because as it draws closer, they will become THE most powerful consortium, or cartel in the history of the world. They are very nearly there as it is.

Look at the horror that was visited on us last summer.

Not one criminal charge has been filed.

Obama gives a marvelous speech. Really and truly he does.

The challenge is every bit as difficult as going to the moon inside a decade. As with Apollo 13 "failure is not an option."

MSNBC Fires Keith Olbermann

Yes, it's true. MSNBC makes it official. The corporate state has spoken. Big brother is watching and listening.

The take away?

Make sure, pundits, that you don't question the large, monolithic corporate construct. That you don't too deeply touch upon oil spills, corporate corruption, war profiteering and especially don't question Halliburton, and Poppa Dick.

Friday we posted something on the resurrection of the anti-Lazarus Dick Cheney through the wonders of the modern pay-for play, forgive and forget, BigMediaCorp "I love Dick" fest.

Whether it is related or not, Keith Olbermann DID have the guts to bring up the serious issues with regard to Halliburton, Cheney, Big Oil and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

He was fired Friday. At the end of my last missive, boys and girls, I said the following of BigMediaCorp:

"Watch them, read them with an eye toward what they DON'T ask, and how hard they stretch NOT to ask it. Then come talk to me about how we still have a free press in this country. If such talk keeps you up at night, it should."

Here's the Judas version: that being, the official story that the Associated Press ran:

"Ooo. Uhm....yeah. Big no-no. Mmmmm. See? We're not gonna be able to keep someone on who is, uh, doing that."

Translation. Liberal =bad.

"Campaign contributions". Yeah. Joe Scarborough did the same thing. Didn't he?

Now let's look at the real reason. Olbermann, as much as he was able to, didn't pull any punches against the monstrously huge, corporate dildo attempting to fornicate all of us into slavery, or reduce civilization to rubble, or send all of us, minus the elites, back into the stone age; or whatever the hell it is, precisely, they have planned for us all. And surely, it can't be pretty.

In honor of someone who dared to speak out and now joins the ranks of we lowly basement bloggers, I have randomly gathered some highlights from his take on Big Corp, Big Oil and the oil spill. If you gain the sense there might be a correlation between his termination, and these clips, then you are not alone.

On Halliburton's Move to Dubai and War Profiteering.

His guest, there, a former CIA officer and investigative journalist, said it best, perhaps

"These companies are not interested in what's good for the United States they are interested in what's good for themselves." But I guess that makes him a liberal, and combative as well.

Here's another one on Halliburton receiving twenty five percent of the overbilling charges during the Iraq war.

Cheney's Whitewash In Virtual Journalism

Used to be, you asked God to forgive you. You confessed, and you were all clean again.

Now, apparently, the worst sins of this world can be washed away by corporate media.

Offending puff pieces fall into two categories. 1. Those that talk about his heart, and what a loveable old bear he is. 2. Those that Disneyfy the Dickmeister by referring to his "dark" public image without ever actually looking at the specifics.

The second tactic of BigMediaCorp schlebs is the naked attempt to get themselves around the issue of behaving like actual journalists.

Here's one of the former variety. "Cheney Reaches a Truce" What utter vomit, ending with a quip from former Secretary of State James Baker, agreeing to go hunting with Cheney after donning some "good body armor".

Okay? We all know this story: Cheney shot a man in the face in 2006. Tea Party republicans, who as former Rep. Alan Grayson said "show a strong resilience to the suffering of others" love this story. They love it! But, I want you to think of the pain of getting shot in the face from one or two paces with bird shot!

No? Nothing? Whatever, moving on.

I have nattered on about the man's misdeeds enough. See former posts for greater detail. Let's look more closely at the vomit and excrement from corporate fawning and blithely indifferent to actual news media, as they tout Cheney emergence from his lair while he shows off the scars from his SHT, Strategic Heart Trouble.

Here's Brian Williams going over what everyone already knows about Dick Cheney. He has heart trouble. Watch innocent young Brian thoughtfully tell you with his girlish straight face, all about these medical facts, as though relating news of an impending air strike.

How do you sleep, Brian?

Brian is a former journalist. He has joined the pantheon of former journalists who don't actually do anything. They don't actually uncover the news, nor even review newsworthy issues. His face, his voice, give credibility to soft gibberish. It gives you the sense you are being informed, that tough issues are being looked into, without actually providing any information.

And the media gods pay handsomely for it. Others of course, in this pantheon include, Wolf Blitzer. Wolf was doing well in this interview, really getting to the nut of the matters with regard to the war in Iraq, when, mid-stream, he went on a personal attack. Undoubtedly urged there by his corporate masters, better to discredit himself and the previous honest questions a journalist might ask.

Since then, Blitzer has been working hard to rebuild his credibility.

Here's the NBC piece of fawnorama of course.

Olbermann of MSNBC needs some credit here for bringing up the Nigerian bribery case, but of course, he muddies the issue by satirizing the country of Nigeria, from whence come many internet scams, then morphing into one of his network's pet, hotbutton issues,waterboarding.

Oh, but here Olbermann wraps up his take on Cheney and the Nigeria connection - moving on, now people! - with a nice send up on "Not Really Worst Person in the World." Cheney's Halliburton's pay off to the Nigerian government was sandwiched between a blooper made headline and a comedy routine that was mistaken for news.

In an earlier time, the story would have graced the front page of every newspaper in the country "Former VP's Halliburton Pays Off Nigeria to Kill Bribery Charge". Now, such news is trivialized. And we then permit the center of the story to rehabilitate his image via corporate fluff pieces with all the bite of the comfy chair.

Since Cheney's resurrection, Olbermann has been silent on Cheney as an entire subject matter. Of course there is no reason whatsoever to suspect coercion from his corporate masters.

Totally forgotten is Cheney's alleged 100 day meeting with oil executives in the White House. Also forgotten are the allegations that Cheney himself put the rubber stamps all over the gelded Minerals Management Service, turning that regulatory agency into a romper room of position selling and free for all, leading up the Deepwater Horizon Oil spill.

If you can stomach Cheney's new debut as kindly old Yoda archetype who really is just a cuddly, misunderstand man, then watch them. Watch them, read them with an eye toward what they DON'T ask, and how hard they stretch NOT to ask it.

Then come talk to me about how we still have a free press in this country. If such talk keeps you up at night, it should.

The Cheney Interview Installment 1

NBC/Today Show national correspondent Jamie Gangel recently interviewed the Dickmeister. It ran on MSNBC this morning.

The self-congratulatory softball fest, billing itself as news, ran for slightly less than six minutes. If you wade through about a thousand car commercials today and don't blink, you might catch it again. They've promised to replay it.

Poppa Dick was shielded from tougher questions by handlers, no doubt, as well as his on-going Strategic Heart Trouble (SHT). One fifth of this morning's installment was devoted to talk about Cheney's heart; plaguing him since the 1980s when people began asking him serious questions about his role in some of the darker episodes in American history. You may recall some of them; Iran Contra, Panama, Gulf War I, Gulf War II, Valerie Plame, his take on water-boarding, the rendition program, and his involvement with Halliburton?

No? Nothing?

Throughout his career there has been a growing trend. The more serious the questions become, the more serious his ailment grows. It's so serious now, in fact, he wears electrical devices to keep himself alive.

"Liz! I am your father! Let's do a book!"

One notes Cheney's easy willingness to even consider a heart transplant. That's telling. Any other senior citizen would be coached to understand, it is not medically wise, and perhaps shading toward the unethical, to donate a heart to someone not expect to live much longer, when the organ can be given to a younger candidate with a great chance of success.

A human heart he's talking about here. An organ so rare, precious and complex, it cannot be supplanted by any known mechanical device, with any measure of meaningful success. He's comfortable with taking one from someone younger on the list. Sure. Did you expect less from Poppa Dick?

Not once in this segment did Gangel ask Cheney about Halliburton. Nor did she pester him with questions about the 100 day meeting with Big Oil executives which, perhaps, led to the fatal deregulation, which resulted in the BP oil spill. Chances are, in that she has chosen the non-neutral ground of Cheney's home for the interview, she never got round to it, and such honest inquiry befitting actual journalism will never be aired.

We wouldn't want to be impolite, of course. Wouldn't want to upset Poppa Dick in the confines of his lair, especially with his heart trouble.

Breaking it down. The vice president was charged with bribery in a Nigerian court. His former employer promised to pay the Nigerian government $250 million to make the charge go away. This didn't rate a question and likely won't in the upcoming segment of the interview.

We can safely predict this issue will be glazed right over, covered under the broader, gelded heading of "more controversial decisions?" or perhaps another softball, the like of which we heard this morning, namely "any regrets?"

Rating higher on the importance list this morning?Cheney's take on Sarah Palin's reality TV show; the attack in Tuscon and Obama's treatment of it, and the over all political landscape.

Remember Frost/Nixon? So far, this ain't it.

Dead birds, NOW ZOMBIES!?

Zombies were reported in five cities today.

Chicago Department of Health Director, Dr. Stanley F. Lubbeck said "our zombies are not related to the zombie outbreak noticed in Indiana."

Dr. Lubbeck said City of Chicago authorities have noticed zombies before. The zombification of corpses has been ongoing for quite some time in Chicago, he said.

"We've always had zombies, so I don't know what everyone is worried about" Dr. Lubbeck said. "It's just now, with the internet; Twitter and Facebook, people are knowing about it more. The media is to blame for a lot of the panic. If everyone would calm down the problem will quietly go away."

Miriam Johnston of Indianapolis, Indiana isn't so sure; "You can't trust what the government people tell you. They don't want to admit this is bad. I mean, c'mon (expletive) zombies? Zombies? This is normal? What the (expletive) is wrong with you people?"

Last week she was approached by a small crowd of walking corpses near her home. She said one tried to bite her but there were no witnesses to back up her claim.

"I've never seen zombies before this. I wouldn't have moved here if there had been zombies. I've never even heard of zombies, except for in the movies."

What's more, she doesn't believe that zombies aren't potentially toxic.

"I don't like the way they look at us. And the smell," she said.

For now, federal authorities have said there is no evidence zombies are poisonous, or that they devour human flesh, as rumors have reported.

"Zombies are perfectly harmless," said Bud Styles an assistant to Ken Salazar, Interior Secretary.

Styles was interviewed in Yellowstone National Park, a zombie staging point for mass relocation and disposal.

He spoke via SKYPE as teams of federal workers in full HAZMAT gear escorted zombies into paddocks for eventual transportation to an incineration facility at an undisclosed location.

Styles said the HAZMAT gear was standard precautionary.

Test of Zombie flesh has revealed nothing out of the ordinary but more tests are being conducted, he said.

"Those tests will take a few weeks," he said.

Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner said rumors of preferential zombie-disposal contract letting are untrue.

"No members of my party have been unduly influenced in contract letting for zombie removal," he said.

ZombieCorp has contributed more than $5.9 million in campaign contributions to several key members of the House and Senate.

Some members of congress are listed on the ZombieCorp board of directors.

"There is no connection," said Boehner, refusing further comment.

President Barrack Obama has appointed a special investigatory committee to look into the problem and the allegations of contract letting.

"We understand (pause) that people are upset. (look out over audience with calm demeanor.) (pause) Listen, my family is concerned about zombies too. (smile charmingly). We will get to the bottom of this question. The important thing to remember is, we are all Americans. Even zombies."

DEAD BIRDS! Nothing to see here folks, just thousands of them

Now in Kentucky, in addition to Louisiana and Arkansas.

CNN sent a reporter to the University of Georgia who in 3 minutes at the bottom of the hour between 5:57 and 6:00 EST rehashed the same story as yesterday. The blunt trauma theory rides again.

Without mentioning the state of Kentucky, CNN again assures us that birds, all in unison, mostly red wing blackbirds, with a smattering of starling, now, and other delicate creatures, for some reason or other, began driving themselves into phone poles, power lines, and the ground on New Years, presumably due to sensory overload from fireworks.

In this BBC video, you see the birds didn't even wait for the fireworks in Beebe, Arkansas before becoming "disoriented" by loud noises and explosions, they began their death spirals at 7 p.m. Dec. 31.

CNN calmly informs us there is no reason to suspect chemical poisoning, even though chemical tests to rule out chemical poisoning, could take "a couple of weeks." They nod, and ask no further probing questions.

It should be noted that hard-hitting, gruff and tough journalist Wolf "take no shit" Blitzer and company spent a roughly equal amount of time near the TOP of the hour, on their courageous story on Starbucks (tm) changing their logo on their coffee cups. (NO LIE!)

Sometimes the courage and fortitude of CNN in their in-depth coverage makes me weep with pride that I was once a journalist, and that we have a truly free press in these United States of America(tm). God Bless the mighty 4th Estate.

Blackbird DIE! Can you say 'COREXIT?'

You remember growing up, every time you lit off a firework on the 4th of July or on New Year's Eve, you hit a red wing black bird?

Yeah. And neither THE FUCK!!!! do I.

But to believe the state wildlife officials in Arkansas, that is precisely what happened to thousands of red wing black birds (Agelaius phoeniceus) over the past week. No word of a similar explanation coming from Louisiana. Yet.

Sure, you remember how it went: the annual clean-up of thousands of dead and dying MIGRATORY birds, all from one particular species? Remember how birds fell from the sky in waves, after every thunder storm for the same reason, FRIGHT FROM A LOUD EXPLOSION?

Pfft....

"Norwegian Blue, he's just restin', is all. Sure that's it."

This is how quickly the government will lie to you. This is how fast the lie will be spread via the lightweight swill-heads in the televised media.

This excrementus journalisticus was being bandied about on CNN Sunday and Monday; that Arkansonian firework launchers on the eve of December 31 had specifically targeted the red wing black bird which resulted in a number of dead and dying creatures in one particular hamlet.

Apparently, and quite strangely, all of the firework enthusiasts living in the environs of the Beebe, Arkansas are descended from Annie Oakley and John James Audubon, and they don't cotton to no Agelaius phoeniceus around these-here parts!

All the birds showed signs of blunt-force trauma, officialdom said. Not that falling out of trees, or the sky would have anything to do with it.

But this morning it was announced that such trauma was also being reported in Morganza, Louisiana 300 miles to the south. And so, the geniuses at CNN had to revamp, then finally scrap their story regarding said fireworks as deathly fright mechanism. This, in snippets between their courageous, in-depth coverage of the Lindsey Lohan having an arm wrestle with a nurse during her drug and alcohol rehab.

This is what happens when you stop teaching science in the classroom; replacing it instead with swill, Walmart Jesus, and gobbletygook. You find a body public stupefied enough to actually entertain such notions.

Let's take a look at the red wing black bird, shall we?

Its migratory sex and feeding habits place it throughout the cat-tail and coastal marshes of these United States. One of its favorite haunts (wait for it!) is at the edges of the Gulf of Mexico.

The little bird is omnivorous. That means it can and will! eat just about anything. It enjoys is mosquitoes, flies, maggots, and dead things as well.

Repeating now, it enjoys dead things as well.

"Dead things?"

Sure, no problem. It will eat a dead thing. Yeppers.

"Dead, like fish?"

Oh hell yeah. It'll eat that. Good-to-go.

We spoke over the summer, if you've been reading, about something called "bio-accumulation," wherein a toxin is introduced into the environment at the lower levels, say in mosquito larvae, or shrimp larvae, and then it accumulates in a species that eats a whole mess of those smaller critters, or their larvae.

"The canary in the coal mine?"

Precisely. The canary was used to tell the miners when bad gases were building up BECAUSE IT WOULD DIE FIRST SO THEY COULD GET THE HELL OUT OF THE MINE AHEAD OF THE GAS!!

Yeah. Like that.

Corexit - and we really have not the first idea WHAT it does to human tissue AND the government won't speculate - has been shown to behave like a neurotoxin in some forms of critterdom. It attacks soft tissues, brain, the nerves, while it also goes after the muscles. It might render a little bird off-balance. Unable to fly, or even hold on to a branch should it decide to take a rest.

SILENCE! While I listen to an official from Arkansas, Dr. George P. Badley, stumble over his words as he is interviewed by CNN's genius in residence, Kira Phillips. (They'll get her too. You watch. They fire the smart ones right after they get rid of the back-sassers)

Dr George P. Badley notes that the red wing black bird is considered a "nuisance". He also said the 17 birds undergoing necropsy had suffered "internal hemorrhaging" which is precisely what would happen if you had some acute chemical poisoning.

But don't take my word for it. Continue believing it's the result of fireworks.

Dr. George P. Badley, he's the state veterinarian for Arkansas, also stated the bird has notoriously bad night vision.

Well you can see where this is going, can't you? Yep, blame the victim. And he's a blind nuisance. He contributes nothing to the economy. He pays no taxes, and liberals love him, so fuck him. Who needs Agelaius phoeniceus around these here parts!

Dr. George P. Badley, also (the interview just gets worse here) said he hasn't spoken to anyone in Louisiana but "he can't see" how the massive die off of the exact same species, the same weekend, under the same conditions, could be related to what went on on Beebe.

Beebe is north by northwest of Morganza, Louisiana, about 280 miles on the Google Earth. It is 80 miles north by west of the Mississippi River. Morganza is right on the Mississippi, and north of the Gulf of Mexico by 90 miles.

The bird flies in massive groups, and can cover more than 30 miles in a day. Its migration pulses back and forth over the delta from the Gulf into the heartland, over the course of the year. But don't take my word for it. Go to Google, type in "red wing black bird" and read all about it. See how wide the habitat is, covering much of these United States. Has the bird fallen from the sky in your town immediately after New Year's fireworks?

Is it Corexit, or something chemical in the water, killing the bird?

Could be. Smells like a chemical poisoning by the evidence. One species? Something it ate? Yep.

Will the government look into it?

Not likely. Lassez faire government likes the "go boom" explanation. Why sure, there's a government cheese grazer somewhere between coffee breaks, writing up a press release as you read these words. The release will undoubtedly employ the appropriate pseudo-sci lingo citing fireworks as the principle culprit.

Meanwhile, add this bird die-off to a thousand potential impacts of the spill, and the chemical dispersant, still reverberating in the environment. Still reverberating as the government tries to bribe, arm-twist, or entice innocent victims to give up their right to sue at a later date.

Net loss to life? Unknown.

Dick Cheney will go down in history as one of the most evil men this country has ever produced.

We will only fully appreciate this fact, after we deal with the world war he intentionally helped to start.

The most recent $250 million payment by Halliburton to the Nigerian government's anti-corruption police, is the latest of his Teflon-Antichrist acts.

He had been charged in connection with a bribery case involving a $6 billion natural gas lease. Muh-huh-illions! had been paid in bribes - allegedly - to government officials for securing that lease but when the government began to implode under the weight of its own corruption all the truth cookies fell out for all the world to see.

Again, Dick skates.

Let's review:

1. Dick escapes the Skooter Libby indictment. Remember? Valerie Plame's outing as a CIA agent? See the movie Fair Game for details.

2. The aforesaid scandal let the cat out of the bag on the absolute crock of shit the original "credible intelligence" was on the oh-so-deadly and yet non-existent weapons of mass destruction program of Saddam Hussein.

3. Hallibuton was served up buh-illions! in contracts for the war which resulted.

4. Cheney held a 100-day long meeting with oil industry execs within the White House during his time as Vice President that allegedly nutted, de-fanged and de-clawed regulatory agencies overseeing domestic oil drilling operations. Halliburton and BP were represented at these meetings. No minutes from the meetings have been available to the public.

5. Cheney accepted a huge final payout from Halliburton at the time of his (wink) "exit interview" before becoming vice president. He then urged his president on to a war...........which resulted in a number of multi-billion dollar contracts for services, that went to Halliburton and subsidiary KBR.

Where is Cheney now? Anecdotal reports have him constructing a massive underground bunker somewhere but who knows, and the media never finds out. He pioneered such a structure allegedly, beneath the official Vice President's residence, in 2002. When neighbors complained of all the noise and construction, Cheney's people reported that the vice president was merely creating an office work space on an upper floor. Current Veep Joe Biden later confirmed that indeed there exists an underground bunker beneath the residence.

You note that Halliburton is NOT named as one of the defendants of the US Government's limp lawsuit in the BP oil spill, despite the conspicuous reports that there was something, at the very least different, if not deficient, about their cement mix used prior to the Deepwater Horizon Oil spill.

The televised media shied totally away from the Nigerian bribe within a bribe.

Only those of us who assiduously read the internet for BP news and watch our YouTubes are really aware that the former Vice President of the United States was named as a defendant in a bribery lawsuit in Nigeria. Has this sort of thing ever happened before in the history of this country? Much less that his former employers paid a $250 million highwayman mordida to make those nasty charges simply vanish.

Why? Why is cable news afraid of Dick Cheney?

How docile is the allegedly-left television winky-tinks, to the former republican veep, who should normally provide red meat for the libby grist mill? Why is there this deafening silence where there should be outrage and clamor?

How is it the allegedly responsible players, CNN and MSNBC, haven't reported on it? Choosing instead to snatch the predictable divisive issues, perennial low-hanging fruit, such as Don't Ask Don't Tell?

At the beginning of the summer Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper stood with their concerned gazes before the scenic backdrops in places like New Iberia, vowing to get to the bottom of it all. Oh how those teary concerned eyes lied to us.

"Look how concerned she is. She really means it, doesn't she?" we said, feeling good that a voice and a face America trusts would not let us down.

Now? The beltway sword dances during the lame duck weeks, the idiotic tears of John Boehner, and other nonsense minutia, these bits of awful fill the screens of gelded lightweight MSNBC, and CNN between the Cadillac commercials and celebutard news: Lindsay Lohan slapping a nursing tech at her rehab center.

Disgraceful, emblematic of a society in decline, piloted there by a media controlled by plutocrats who silently, malevolently brook no dissent, no discussion, no protest against their atrocities.

Ooopsie Daisy. Blow-Out Preventer Useless as Evidence?

Coming up on one month ago we made a comment concerning the blow-out preventer in this article that postulated corporate sabotage as a potential root cause for the oil spill.

You'll note deep in the article we discuss the Blow Out Preventer, that earlier reports note the BOP sitting on a NASA dock, open to the elements and largely unsecured.

Now The Houston Chronicle and MSNBC report that the very same BOP (oops and gosh golly) is possibly null and void as a key piece of evidence.

Anymore I hate it when I am correct.

So let me get this straight: a supervisor works for Transocean one of the three major players in the drama. He's working on the rig before the explosion happens. He then goes to work for a contractor helping to investigate the blow-out preventer and there's video of him putting his hands on this key piece of evidence?

Is this accurate? Are we serious here?

Is that not like putting an Oswald relative in charge of securing Dealey Plaza prior to an investigation on the Kennedy assassination?

Cluster-fuck alert!

Well, of course, this is all just random, see? There IS no conspiracy here, folks. Nothing to see, go about your business. Move along now sheeple. Er, uh, I mean people.

The bad decision count on the logic board by now is certainly up to 20 to 0. The null set representing good decisions start to finish.

The Obama administration of course should register its outrage with regard to this by orchestrating a Rose Garden photo op with the nuns and orphans fund, sometime following the Holiday week. So please look for it.

What no one will report on this week is the potential sabotage angle.

If there was any evidence to be found of any sort of negligible culpability, or sabotage, either exculpatory or damning to any party in this mess whatever, that evidence is now tainted.

And what we all know about that from either the Simpson trial or a thousand cops shows we have watched is, that introduces reasonable doubt, which lets everyone off the hook.

The Nigeria vs Halliburton bribery case that threatened to ensnare our former vice president Dick Cheney has evaporated.

What made it go poof? $US250 million.

The next time someone decries a rapper getting off with only probation on a weapons charge, you tell them where the real gangstas can be found.

Nigeria's anti-corruption police are human, after all. They have needs as do any of us; needs for brilliant things, electronic devices, plasma screens, the Almighty HD; things that go zoom in the night, like on all the commercials: Lexus, Mercedes, Cadillac. Needs of wearing the latest from Armani to Bvlgari. And we can't forget the need to take elaborate vacations; yes, trips to Swiss banks with shiny, metal, cases.

Why do the same names keep popping up in the negative column as we read about Cheney, Halliburton, KBR, and BP?

The usual suspects.

In the records of the Old Bailey, there can be seen court notations for those characters who frequently found themselves before the magistrates. One asterix meant you had appeared in court before. Two indicated you were previously convicted. And a cross beside your name, indicated you were a frequent guess of His Majesty. Double cross pegged you as a known associate of on-going criminal enterprises, a villain.

Analogs in the current circumstance? You get the drill.

Meanwhile, our television media concentrates on the surprising fact that there is a thing called winter, that it definitely exists, and it has brought us this curious substance called snow this week. And it is AMAZING!

CNN is skywriting in the mundane today. Weatherman Rob Marciano - and he must have had an argument with a higher-up - is somewhere in Arkansas; again and again describing what is snow, how it works, how it can gum up traffic and so on; how a snow-plow operates, how road salt helps to lower the freezing point of water to about to 28 degrees, so that the ice on the street melts.

Groan.

While our news media continues on toward its eventual death rattle, let us walk away from the television and sit here at our computer and reflect on a few facts.

One, WikiLeaks has released a new document today about BP's narrow escape from another blow-out in Azerbaijan. This comes hours after Obama administration's Eric (place)Holder, released the US Department of Justice's meekly delayed, mincingly announced decision to sue the oil giant for damages from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

No criminal charges have been filed.

In reading these preliminary reports we see the curious absence of one potential defendant: Halliburton.

Is it fair to picture the scene?

Somewhere high over the Atlantic, a man sips Brut in his first class cabin. He's quite pleased with himself. All is well.

The camera pans up from his reclining form to the overhead bin, wherein can be found a shiny, metal, case.

Cheney's Nigeria Connection? HELL-O!!!

Dickensonian Cheney in his bed, awaiting the big one or the spirits one, two, and three, to erase all his sins, and "God Bless us EVERY ONE!"

Okay charges were filed earlier this month. That's right as CEO of Halliburton, along with then subsidiary KBR, it is alleged Cheney and others gave out serious cash to secure a $6 billion oil and natural gas lease in the African country.

You'll note the stalwart denials, of course. "Nigeria? Never even heard of the place! I protest!"

Wwwah, wwwah, wwwaaaaaah. Come to find everyone will likely settle and make nice. Of course deniability is still there, right? Why? Because Nigeria is only slightly more corrupt than we are.

And by the way, that's how completely out-of-touch the news cycle is. Apparently the former vice president of the United States being charged in Nigeria for fu-hu-cking BRIBERY! isn't news-worthy.

What? That's SICK!

MSNBC with its thundering away, pontificating Keith Olbermann, and the Queen of Sanctimony Herself Rachel "DADT is the ONLY issue" Maddow?

Let me see if I have this correct. If you need to get a lawyer to address your issues with BP and you need one pro-bono - which is like, free to you! - BP will foot the bill out of the goodness of their sweet baby Jesus hearts.

Feinberg, says that "in no way" will this impact the sort of legal advice doled out to the unfortunate victims of the worst oil spill in our nation's history.

Nnnah. Come on.

And y0u believe that with all your heart, don't you?

Just like you believe him when he says the liability release waivers he is asking those afflicted parties to sign, holding BP harmless, are no way timed with the Christmas season and the need for families to at least put something on the table?

Sure. You buy that too, don't you?

Because you're a trusting person, right? And the government and large corporations don't lie, and if I close my eyes really hard and pray, everything will be alright.

Of course Feinberg's comments represent the latest hypnotic idiot-speak that has passed muster with a docile, auto-orgasmic media all flutter-eyed and shivering to its own rhythmic strokes at the hypocrisy of the extended Bush tax cuts.

Mmmmmnn, yeah! so good, as it flails away at that which is glisteningly obvious: on the one hand Tea Partiers begging for more debt, and on the other a campaign pledge broken.

And President Obama in no way shape or form made this latest boo-boo to deflect the nation's attention from what continues to happen in the Gulf.

You believe there are no back room deals flying all over the place at the moment. Florida trial attorney Mike Papantonio was looking into whether Feinberg was getting a cut of whatever he saves the oil giant, but that issue vanished into thin air. All quiet, all better.

You would agree that if Feinberg is getting a percentage at whatever BP saves is a pretty big conflict of interest right? That's huge, right?

That's why in Florida real estate law you can't perform property appraisals AND be paid fees based on the appraised value, right? Because, somehow, gosh golly, every property you looked at would suddenly be worth $1 million or better. Makes sense.

But we, here down the other end the information pipe have no answer either way on this seemingly ridiculous question that is suspiciously going unanswered.

Just shit-nuts crazy enough to be true? Consult history on this thing.

Yup.

In the end, if you want to go back to sleep, take none of this seriously. DON'T think that Ken Feinberg is now BP's legal and financial point-man. DON'T think that he is doing everything in his power to minimize damage to the oil giant who has maximized damaged to the people on the Gulf Coast for decades. DON'T think Ken Feinberg's mission in life is to keep BP out of court at all costs, including the skin of the very people the company has harmed the most.

Seen here in an earlier role as Uncle Kindly, he says "you don't have to give up your right to litigate." He also says that the small business person is a "priority!"

But this morning on MSNBC "Morning Joe" the allegedly "independent" administrator of the $20 billion fractional-reserve damage check disbursement account/morale murdering program of patronization, is on tape admitting that, yes, in order for the damaged fishermen and business operators to get their lump sum checks and expedite the process, they must first sign a paper that gives up the claimant's right to sue at a later date.

Of course, this sort of "give me my pound of flesh" tactic was used by the oil giant at the beginning of this disaster and was roundly lambasted as underhanded. Recall that lawyers -checkbooks, pen and paper in hand - were all over the Gulf Coast at the start, urging those wishing to earn at least something while the oil came ashore to sign the papers giving up their right to sue.

This was one of the reasons an independent disbursement authority and fund was set up in the first place: to eliminate the conflict of interest and cut through smokescreen harassment and strong-arm tactics used to stay out of the courtroom.

How quickly we forget why in hell Ken Feinberg was called into this game by President Barack Obama, in the first place, right?

Joe Scarborough had Alabama Governor Bob Riley on MSNBC's Morning Joe today discussing this. Riley told the story of a young Alabama couple forced out of business because they were coming up short, but they refused to give up their right to sue.

"These aren't corporate people," he said. That says a lot, coming from a republican governor. One, who obviously very much gives a damn about small business. The convenient Kewpie-doll to others who use "mom and pop" as a touchstone of vanishing Americana all the time, while they blithely sell our small business interests down river to Chinese sweatshops.

When the producers played the tape, just referenced above, Scarborough nearly gagged from laughing. Not at the tragedy of this all but, in my view, the unbelievable absurdity, the spectacle of this game of Three Card Monty, "take it or leave it" attitude from the president's "Compensation Tsar."

Here's the Ed Show's, radio version on it. Perhaps more will be aired on it this evening. Or perhaps Ed will want to stay out of this prickly situation, as it reflects poorly on his president. Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow still have that warm, "I Have Dream/Yes We Can" dust in their eyes, and a major blind spot for the bad policies of this president. Which is why it's been so easy for them to close their eyes to the on-going economic holocaust along the Gulf. For what it's worth, here's what was said recently on Ed's radio segment about Feinberg.

Plaquemines Parish President Billy Numgesser the rare exception, nearly every other public official that has anything to do with this tragedy, through their close working association with BP, has undergone a transformation from honorable public servant and concerned watchdog, to spokesperson for BP.

Feinberg's transformation may not have taken root as quickly as some others. Or, perhaps the agenda to slide gracefully into the oil giant's arms was always in the works from the moment he took over the compensation fund.

No matter, Ken Feinberg now joins Thad Allen, President Barack Obama and the chairpersons of the President's National Oil Spill Commission in that regard.

Oil corrupts, and BP oil corrupts absolutely.

Julian Assange: We will Shoot this Messenger

One day we'll all call this guy a hero. Mark my words.

People who bring us the truth have a habit of ending up dead first before we do.

Because that's what we do to our human heroes, we canonize them, memorialize them, after we murder them for bringing us the truth. Or after we have appreciated their bravery, with pity, following the destruction of their villages, tribes etc.

Examples: Sitting Bull (America), Montecuzoma (Mexico), Lenca (Central America) Atahualpa (Peru), Martin Luther King, Jr. (USA), Bobby Kennedy(USA). Oh yeah! Gandhi (India)! Oh, and who else? Now I remember, Jesus (Nazareth).

"Wasn't he a good fellow," we say. "Wasn't he brave. Let's put up a statue in the park. There, all better."

He will be murdered soon. Does he have a hinky sex background? Perhaps. But the odds that the recent charges against him in Sweden are trumped up and built on shaky evidence, at best, are now astronomically inclined in his favor.

Intelligence people know this: such coincidences don't exist in reality.

No matter. He'll either be zapped in prison - carry it under the heading "found hanging in his cell" - or he will be found in a hotel room in city X having died after an alleged "drug overdose".

"Depressed, poor fellow, from all the hubbub. Moving on."

Note that the ball, on his arrest and capture, started moving faster, and with greater purpose AFTER he threatened to release documents pertaining to the untouchable:, the banks, and oil companies, who have both royally screwed us all.

If we could see all of those correspondences! Well, that's a REAL peek behind the reality curtain, isn't it.

No. Likely never happen. "Moving on."

BP was in his most recent statement: he was going to release documents related to BP. BigGovCorp simply cannot have that. That just won't do.

"Sorry Mr. Assange; but thank you, valued employee, for all your efforts. We must kill you now, and put up a statue later when we've all thought better on it, and we fool ourselves that we've seen the light and become civilized."

But four characters like him will be standing in his shoes on the following day, sixteen when those are removed, and so on.

Not that Mr. Assange isn't being used by our enemies, speaking as an American citizen, of course he is. But what is really happening?In my view Mr. Assange is using our enemies, and in jiu jitsu fashion, our own ills. By this he is liberating something we aren't accustomed to hearing or seeing: the truth.

In this case, it's truth about who we've become through years of closing our eyes.

I can't help but thinking of Oscar Wilde's novel, A Picture of Dorian Grey. I started reading it recently as research on the time period, for a novel I am working on.

You remember Wilde, jailed in London for being openly homosexual in 1893 or so? Ring a bell? No? Most of us were shielded from Wilde in school. I know I was. "Simply won't do" they said. "Moving on."

Recapping history, to be secretively gay was okay in Victorian London, but not openly. DADT was in place for all of the UK. The Anglo-Irish poet did 18 months hard labor because he got sick of lying about it. The time in prison crushed him. He died soon after as a sick, broken man.

In his one novel, which revealed the underside of the British upper crust - their lives of infidelity, homosexual leanings, languid sensuality, and disdain toward those less fortunate - the character Dorian Grey is given a painting that is such a precise representation of who he is, it subsumes his soul.

The Faustian bargain Dorian strikes with the universe is that, as he physically ages, everything bad that his soul has become is sort of slurped off of him and onto the painting, which itself begins to weather - the lip snarls at first after he hurtfully dumps an actress and so on. You get the drill - while Dorian retains all the vitality of youth and innocence in full-bloom physically.

So - and there's always an upper story attic in these sort of arrangements - he has the painting shrouded and hauled up to his secret place.

(hands flapping in the breeze) Right, so, off we go with the concept. You can imagine truth being like a gas under pressure. In this situation you'd want to contain it, but the lie forces you to contain more and more of it, right? Well pretty soon the vessel likely can't take it, and so too with this painting. Pop, out comes the truth which by now, has grown quite ugly.

You can see the analogies and the strange similarities and parallels between then and today and how life imitates art.

Julian Assange isn't Jesus, Gandhi or Dorian Grey. But, he is someone attempting to bring us the truth. His reasons are likely as egotistical and narcissistic as they are altruistic. This much I have gathered from his interviews.

It takes great narcissism to be so bold to think you, and you alone, are responsible for bringing the real truth forward into the world; so that you may transform all mankind with it. That takes near insanity. The sort in which you value your quest more than your own life.

What many of us fail to see is that Julian Assange is the tip of a gigantic iceberg of truth that has only now begun crashing into our shore.

All our business runs on machines operating with outdated code. Code created last week is already outdated the moment it was written. How much of the government do you suppose runs on something so idiotically vulnerable as Windows XP? A lot of it. How easy is it to sit passively across the net via a wireless point and monitor every word written, either in code or any language anywhere, even these words as I type them? The right tools and an eight year old can do it.

We share everything on an iPod made in China, or other complex machine, while the most difficult device to hack and monitor is a $3.95 cell phone bought at the Wal Mart checkout. A device which is also, curiously, made in China.

You see these posts and comments all across the net now, "anyone who would tell him anything should be shot!" That sort of thing.

Shoot all of us, then. Our information systems are as vulnerable, porous and defenseless as Sarah Palin's logic.

The problem isn't Julian Assange. The problem is us and our acid reflux to the truth. We avoid it like a vampire shuns the dawn.

Unless we change who we are on a fundamental level, how we treat our fellow earthlings, the truth will get out, that we are not who we seem to be, who we pretend to be.

I haven't reached the end of Wilde's novel yet. Like you I am playing catch up with culture. Somehow I see that Dorian's efforts to contain the truth behind the shroud are actually making things worse.

Somehow I don't think Dorian is going to make it. I hope we can do better.

THE STRANGE CASE OF DR. CHU

You should read this article by the New York Times on Energy Secretary Dr. Steven Chu's ties to BP. It goes deeper than Dr. Chu. His undersec is also a BP insider.

You should get a kick out of this quote from an Energy Department spokeswoman, found in the article.

Ms. Mueller added, “No one in their right mind would suggest that Dr. Chu is beholden to oil companies, especially since he’s spent the past decade working to cut America’s dependence on oil and move us toward a clean-energy economy.”

Call me crazy then. Here, I want you to listen to me while I say it, Ms. Mueller; "Dr. Chu is beholden to one oil company in particular and that company is BP!"

Having listened to the news reports and watched tape on His Majesty's $15 million laissez faire coffee clatch commission (AKA Presidential Oil Spill Commission) which, by the way reports directly -do not pass go, do not collect $100 - to Dr. Steven Chu, I can safely say the results of that commission are bought and paid for by BP, in my humble opinion.

In my humble opinion I'd also like to add that I think Al Capone was guilty of murder, in addition to income tax evasion. I just want to cover all bases of ludicrous, over-indemnification.

By the way, you have to love the way government people parse their words. It works like this: Q: "Did Senator Snort take the money?" A: "Why these questions are as outrageous as they are sophomoric! Of course the sun is the center of the solar system!! (harumpf)"

"No one in their right mind would suggest Dr. Chu is beholden to the oil COMPANIES" Plural. Did you catch that?

No. That's obviously not the question, in the plural. That's very different than issuing a categorical denial to the assertion that Dr. Chu is beholden to BP, specifically. It shows you that even the spokesperson for the department of energy KNOWS something hinky is up with Dr. Chu and his strange association with BP.

I highly recommend you read the NYT article and balance this against the bizarre, inconsistent findings of the president's oil spill commission.

TOO EVIL TO BE BELIEVED is NOT a reason for NOT ASKING THE QUESTION!

Was there sabotage involved in the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill?

"Heavens no. Who would even think of such a thing?"

What do you mean by that? Is that even a logical answer?

"No but, there's no way."

How do you know?

"Because no one would ever be so evil as to do such a thing."

How do you know?

"I....I.....let's not even discuss it. Too difficult to believe or even track down the answer."

Sounds like you work either for the media, or the United States government.

Just because you can't believe someone would do something that is hideous, murderous and evil, is NOT a fact-based reason NOT to investigate whether or not they did it.

If your only criterion for removing a suspect from a list is because you "just can't believe they would do something like that" you should be fired as an investigator.

Example: a woman runs over her own toddler with the family car. Police have run into this situation from time to time. It usually turns out to be an unthinkably tragic accident.

The point is, the police at some point, have to ask mom what happened, what she was thinking, what was her frame of mind at the time, and what led up to the accident? If they don't they aren't doing their jobs.

But take the hypothetical a little further: she placed the stroller behind the car, got in, put it in reverse without looking, and mashed her foot all the way to the floor atop the accelerator.

Now what? Three different lapses in judgement, each as reckless as the other.

Take it even further.

Now she "lawyers up", as they say on the television dramas. She lawyers up and she shuts up completely with the bland statement "it was an accident," being her only explanation. The police ask her to come in to speak with them and she refuses. They launch an investigation and she fights it. They get a warrant to search her home and she and her high-priced lawyer fight that as well.

Come to find out, she was cited for shaking the toddler so bad the month prior, the Department of Children and Families came to the home and issued her a warning, and assigned an investigator.But the investigator was so overworked he hadn't time to report to the home. Police look a little further into her background and discover that two years ago, she dropped the child off with a friend and disappeared for a week! Her last words to the friend before she left? "I just can't handle one more second with this kid!"

Now what? Does a good cop still swallow the "too horrible to be true" defense and not even pursue the line of inquiry called "was it intentional?"

We have a similar set of outrageous circumstances with this oil spill. His Majesty's weasel commission isn't even making inquiries into the possibility that someone, somewhere inside the whole mess, MADE this accident happen.

You have a greedy company cutting corners time and again. As anyone who plays Jenga knows, the last block removed is the one that results in collapse. In this case, was not every last "responsible decision" block quietly ushered out of the way? Which was the last Jenga block in this case? Is it not possible that any one of these blocks - from the cement mix, to the decision not to use quite so many centralizers, to the decision to remove the drilling muds prior to making sure the cement plug was in place - could have been the Jenga block? Who is responsible for that decision for removing the Jenga block? What is their background? What was their motivation? Have they experienced any massive economic windfall recently? Do they have mysterious bank accounts anywhere?

So many different possibilities: so many potential villains.

But no. Your government isn't even looking into the possibility. Does this even concern you? Is this the way the NTSB behaves after an airplane crash? Of course not. They consider the unthinkable if ever so briefly.

"This is too difficult; to run down all these questions," so too, is not a responsible reason NOT pursue any line of inquiry

Why are they not asking this question given the obscene preponderance of evidence that the wrong decisions were made from shore over and over and over and over and over and over before finally one of these became the Jenga block? Why isn't the sabotage angle even entertained? Does this make sense to you?

Because it is too hard to even question whether or not someone would do something so hideously evil?

But see history's many examples and you have to conclude not only WOULD man do something so monstrous to his fellow man, but he has, time and again.

And those who eluded capture the longest were those who did the MOST monstrous things.

Because no one believed that a human being with a heart was capable of it.

Corporate Sabotage STILL ON THE TABLE

Anyone with a rational mind knows it. No small irony that if it was an act of sabotage originally designed to possibly reduce our domestic oil exploration, it will now end up being government sponsored in the form of sanitation, and blow-back muffling.

Because those formerly in possession of a conscience and a spine are found without them when it comes to BP.

Manslaughter, eco-terrorism, sabotage. Yes. That's what I said. There is a strong possibility, in my view, that this is precisely what we have experienced and the government blessing thereon will fall from His Majesty, our own wayward and corrupt president, and our equally corrupt congress who don't particularly care anymore about this issue and want it gone at any cost.

Months ago we spoke of motive and opportunity in the potential sabotage angle concerning the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

An article Saturday reported that the Oil Minister for Pakistan says his president and another official have forced him to accept a deal giving BP massive oil reserve drilling rights in Pakistan for pennies on the dollar.

Recall that the previous article regarding the sabotage angle I said something to the affect that for a thing to be intentional, there has to be a number of decisions that could have been made to prevent it, and yet were not chosen.

More simply, the curious presence of the wrong decision, not once but in repeated succession, again and again. More than three bad decisions leading to a disaster of this proportion, and you have to ask yourself if there isn't intent to make the wrong thing happen.

We have at least twelve such bad decisions.

Yes, the muted weasel commission's findings actually show about twelve things that could have gone wrong and did and each decision was based, nine times out of twelve, on time constraints. And curiously most of the bad decisions were made in the safety of the shore side urging the workers on the rig, on pain of termination from employement for failure to follow through, who then suffered the outcome in eleven human fatality cases. Those dozens who survived deal with horrific memories, injuries, and nightmares.

As in "Oops. Our bad. Sorry guys! But keep up the good work, valued employee! ... those who survived anyway.."

Other seemingly random events such as the worn out blow-out preventer parts have yet to be addressed since the $15 million, six meeting, presidential oil spill commission is apparently waiting for the recovered device to rust before commissioners - gasp! - "discover" the parts' rusted condition prevents its use as actual evidence."Heavens! Look! It's Rusted! Oh well!"

This no joke. This crucial piece of evidence is reportedly languishing in the open air on a NASA dock in New Orleans receiving whatever insults nature and Joe the Dumbass wandering by? can mete out to it, just now. Do you find that curious? No? Nothing conspicuous with this choice for THE most crucial piece of evidence in recent memory? No? Not surprised?

BP have allegedly lobbied to release a convicted terrorist, remember? No investigation currently? BP have certainly killed their own employees (oopsie!) before this, then pinky-promised to do better. Remember? BP allegedly continues its enviro-pillage in Nigeria, oh but, you know, there's no evidence to suggest perennial partner Halliburton allegedly bribed anybody in the Nigerian government, and get real would you?

Halliburton has also allegedly killed its own employees and just as allegedly raped others; then allegedly told them to shut up about it while pointing to non-disclosure agreements. But it's all good because it was a subsidiary KBR, see? and not really the parent company, so that makes it alright, allegedly.

These are not nice people, allegedly. By that I mean the alleged management of these corporations. Not the line employees who risk their lives under a cloud of taint and bad decisions.

But now, with a deal cut in Pakistan, everybody gets rich who is supposed to, the war continues via cheap gas in situ.

Connections: BP supplies our war gas. It now has a cheap supply in Pakistan, so who needs competition coming from the Gulf? But if BP is also hamstrung by persecution by Obama for its misdeeds here, it finds solace of friendship with Musharraff who is talking a little more like our enemy, lately.

Reviewing then. BP= Nation state unto itself. And we wouldn't want to piss it off, would we? So accept the lie, I suppose. This thing is scripted. Get on the page and STFU. Like that.

Now Obama can glide through the end of his historic term as "first black president" having accomplished absolutely nothing. His Glibness playing mop boy a part scripted for him, sprung on him like a trap, by republicans and oil greased democrats.

Thus, a mathematically probable act of corporate sabotage, and most certainly a wanton act of disregard for safety and life on earth, in lieu of money, is ushered under the rug of obfuscation so that business in the corrupt usual may continue.

Yes, this is what they told us via anal fog horn, just a week ago. Remember? Can you remember last week? Hello? Are you there? "DOCTOR GET THE PADDLES THE PATIENT IS DOA!"

But as luck would have it - or perhaps it's God talking to us, or the Dalai's karma - an internal memo has surfaced now in the form of a slide within a presentation that was to be aired only "interoffice" of the weasel commission. This leaked out to the wider world through the website of said entity, also known as The Presidential Commission on the Gulf Oil Spill. And from there it found its way into The New York Times and its associated web site.

This PowerPoint slide more clearly and concisely, without the mumbo-jumbo previously fed to the public, iterated eleven conclusions. These each state that safety WAS pitched for monetary (aka TIME!!) concerns in as many as nine out of a possible eleven procedures omitted in the worst man-made upward fornication, in earth's history. The other two omitted procedures may have been time savers, or they may not have been.

Time is used parenthetically here only because some folks (namely the commissioners themselves) need it pounded into their heads that there is absolutely no difference between time and money in the adult world of drilling for oil.

I have already decried all this in a previous blog. As Dale Bozzio said "Do you hear me? Do you care?" She also said "What are words for when no one listens anymore?"

I was so angered I even trotted out my old friend Stanley Morton to say it in a video now found on YouTube, last bastion of the insane. Stanley feigned urination on the commissions' findings because he believes that our minds long ago reverted to the fecal stage, and thus special impactful images are necessary in order to reverse Societal Bullshit Tone-Deafness Disorder (SBTDD). You'll notice Stanley gets so worked up b y all this he can't even add and subtract anymore while explaining things. Sad, really.

Stanley says; "I stood in a public bathroom out in the middle of nowhere in Palm Bay, Florida and poured GatorAid on a piece of paper then flushed it for y'all. Did anybody listen?"

In summation, no one likes to admit this about any public official they previously believed in. In my case there are two who fit into this category, Senator Bob Graham who chairs the weasel commission, and President Barack O-goddamn-I-ain't-doing-shit-about-the-oil-spill -bama.

The weasel commission is proving itself to be a passel of lying villains, who can't even lie with competence. They are acting every bit like they are being bribed, drugged into stupidity, coerced through strong-arm tactics or all of the above.

They have now let the "truth pig" out of the bag. And they want it back, so they can dress that bad boy up and put lipstick of obfuscation, the soft, legalized piss-water, the parsed nothingness of GovSpeak all over it.

At the very end tail of this pig they wish to place a little glop of dog shit like a bow for us to grab with our mouths, suck on hard and swallow. This dollop of poo lamely asserts that everything previously stated, is only true, in the exact opposite sense.

Yes, "Opposite Day" for grown-ups. Remember Opposite Day as a child? Only we Americans are now such utterly clueless idiots. Obama's Circumlocution Commission; the Itty-Bitty Whitewash Committee, the Compost Consortium, the ...you get the drill.

Writing the last missive about the "Woopsie Daisy Commission" compelled me to actually read the charter of the group looking into the Gulf oil spill. Found at this hyperlink, gang! Use 'em if you got em!

The first thing that jumps at me is how sparingly the charter uses the word "investigation". Once! In that case it refers to their promise not to go off Helter Skelter interfering with REAL investigations currently underway by actual government agencies and law enforcement. Translation: THIS HERE ain't no INVESTIGATION!

No, this is an "advisory committee", submitting toothless "recommendations" after "findings of fact." With all the non-judgmental warmth and love of The Litte Red School House in Manhattan. Not that there's anything wrong with nurturing CHILDREN WHO HAVE DONE NO EVIL!!; as in caused the death of coworkers, destruction of ecosystems, and damaged thousands of businesses, careers, and families.

..........But I digress.

The committee will submit a report to His Tone-Deafness, His World Traipsing Majesty, the President of the United States Barack Obama, in January. And sixty days later the group will disperse.

Second thing that caught my eyes is the price tag: $15 million smackeroos! Third thing, is that the group is only required to meet once a week. Fourth thing that jumped out, is it engages no less than 35 full-time employees each drawing a government salary. (Yee Haw!) I can only imagine what G-level their average pay-grade is. There are seven committee members and subcommittees appointed ad hoc, in other words, no vote.

What I know about government service, having worked two years overseas, one year here in the U.S. boils down to this: a government worker, or official, will do the bare minimum amount of work mandated, for the total maximum price permitted.

If the minimum effort required is once a week, he will do that thing, once a week, and only once a week! To do otherwise invites hatred and ostracism from his chain of command. If he is given leave to hire, or appropriate 35 FTE's to do that one thing, he will ask for 35 and one more, pretty please, oh please, oh please, oh please!

The group will all work on the wasteful, unverifiable Flex-Time sheets, consume as much per diem as is permitted, exploit every last coffee break, lunch break and water break for the computation of hours. And they will stay in THE VERY BEST hotels, and then some, hoping their credit card expenses are given the blind-eye glance for propriety. They usually are rewarded for their largess.

Now, (sound of crinkling chart paper, accompanied by the hiss of hotel ballroom air-conditioners) the group, like Project Blue Book, like the Warren Commission is likely armed with "guidelines" sent down from on high. In this case, since it was chartered under Executive Order 13543 the "Decider" of those guidelines is the most powerful public official on planet earth, the President.

The go-to guy, is the Secretary of Energy, Dr. Steven Chu. Where have I heard that name? Oh yeah! Here, CLICK THIS LINK and scroll down the page, please! Dr. Chu accepted a $500 million grant from BP, on behalf of Berkeley Labs, in 2007 BEFORE he was appointed Energy Sec.

Dr. Chu can appoint ad hoc ( no vote) the subcommittee members. The subcommittee members can be department of energy employees.

What you are seeing here of course is the gentle, slow wonkification of this issue. They are taking any potential blame, liability, not to mention the truth, out behind the barn, and slitting its collective throat with a dull blade of government wonkery. And they are charging you $15 million dollars to do it.

The Woopsie Daisy Commission

The last post highlights the ever-changing narrative; the bumbling, about-face, mushy, non-findings of President Barack Obama's Woopsie Daisy Oil Spill Commission.

The commission also goes by the misnomer "The National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling." I say misnomer because nowhere in this title can be found the word 'investigation' which is something the commission have led us to believe was a function, when it has outed itself as yet another government funded "Ponies and Balloons" program.

At the end of the day (because wonks always use that phrase), when they are cornered with their own bullshit, they admit they have needed subpoena power all along. This, in spite of British tonnes of evidence already in the public record that BP CUT CORNERS, IN CRIMINAL FASHION and something was FLAWED WITH HALLIBURTON CEMENT!

Witness:

1. Here's the word coming out on the commission's findings on November 3. To wit: Halliburton Cement = Bad.

But now? Woopsie daisy!! Not so much. 'No no, children. No smoking gun here'.

How are these two accounts so divergent in just six days time? In what universe are they even remotely congruous? Did an alternate reality superimpose itself on the previous? Was there some time warp paradox? Or - just spit-balling here - do they truly believe WE ARE THAT FUCKING STUPID?

2. And how about the numerous new stories including video testimony of survivors that BP was attempting the old, "wham bam, thank you ma'am" early withdrawal method from operations, to save time and money. This included the fatal removal of the drilling muds and replacement with lighter seawater BEFORE the well was entirely capped with failing cement!

BTW Did you hear the Doug Suttles quote mentioned? "let the investigation" find out what happened. Sure he's all for that. Because what he is talking about is the current, flaccid 'investigation'.

The investigation that, Woopsie-daisy!! Really needs subpoena power to actually do its job. Oh, boo-hoo. Included in the limp requests for more power, they (and it must be said) fully intend not to use, is the implied excuse and caveat "Well, we did as much as we could." (palms turned upward, shoulders shrugged here)

3. Even NYT had this information, way early in the game; that several people attempted to warn managers about safety issues and were unheeded or ignored. Mostly in the interest of time and money.

But now? Woopsie daisy!! Not so much. No. You must have heard wrong. " 'BP took no shortcut! What shortcut?'" And anyway, shortcutting was standard operating procedure so, technically there's nothing out of the ordinary going on. You see, that makes it okay, right? If everyone is doing it in the industry, even though it's unsafe, and like, BP have been doing it this way all along even though it defies even the notion of safety, then it's fair game, all good, end of story.

4. Oh be sure to check out the 'preliminary findings' from the commission.

Funny how a trial balloon works. If you go for it and salute, why, that old trial balloon because stone-carved history. Anyway, you'll see it down there at the very bottom of the page:

"BP's temporary abandonment procedures introduced additional risk."

Wow, searing! Scathing! Ouch! Blistering! Yikes! You can bet they won't do that again!

Imagine post-Auschwitz, a similar investigation into prisoner treatment; "The use of this material can be toxic at these quantities." Or how about after 9-11, "Training procedures for pilots from Middle Eastern nations need to be modified to ensure proper control techniques."

Can you feel the urgency of this commission as it does its job! Just click on the videos. Why, they've dedicated a whole 30 minutes to public commentary!

The truth is, this commission is a white-wash. They float turds of do-nothing, and when they come to conclusions that enrage people still watching, they cry weakly that they can't get subpoena power.

Have they been fighting for it? Have they demanded it? No. They asked for it once, that request went nowhere, in fact was blocked by a group of senators including Jim DeMint and John Boehner.

The House of Representatives has passed a motion to give that power to the commission, but with any luck at all, it will hit the senate floor just as the new crop of lunatics hits their seats and the do-nothing Woopsie Daisy Commission has muddled to an early demise like a bad round of golf.

The president, already having cut massive deals to make the whole mess go away, simply flies to India, Indonesia, Korea, wherever to distance himself physically on the polar opposite side of the planet while this clunking, sputtering, wonky little group of disgraceful do-nothings and say-nothings, continues to shuffle papers, go to break, grab some coffee, maybe head to the can, then come back and mumble sweet, impotent nothings into their microphones.

Be sure to tell them how you feel via their email. And you can be sure they'll read each and every one. But heck, it might feel better for you to stuff their mail box chock full.

OH REALLY? BP DID NOT SACRIFICE SAFETY?

His Majesty Barack Obama's "do nothing and see if that shit flies" commission looking into the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster is in a bit of a bind.

Two days ago the commission, chaired, disgracefully by Senator from Florida Bob Graham, attempted to float the turd of "BP did not sacrifice safety" in spilling 205 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, and that the commission agreed with 90 percent of what a BP inquiry into the matter had discovered; that being "ooops, it happened" and sometimes things do and BP weren't especially cutting corners or doing a rush job on sealing the well.

But yesterday, Graham and others of the committee were on the record, walking back those words with a more stern finger wagging, "these firms need top to bottom reform."

.........And they'll get right on that.

The UK's Daily Mail has some interesting comments: I thought this one particularly apt:

"This sounds like American policitis at its best. Reilly and Graham are all backpeddaling from comments made yesterday by another of their peers because Obama and his henchman called them on the carpet for being positive about BP. Mr. Barlitt said yesterday that he and the rest of his colleagues agreed with 90% of what the BP report stated. For this "team" to come out singing a different toon today sounds alot like Obama policitics."

The commentator hits the nail squarely. Tried to get away with taking the fish entirely off the hook and setting it free, but now with the finger-wagging for the benefit of the media.

Top to bottom reform was what was promised us when BP killed several works in 2007 with shady practices in a Texas City Oil refinery.

Top to bottom reform was what new CEO Tony Hayward was all about, until the Macando well exploded and could not be contained for months.

Now again we get this soft cheese about the need for Top To Bottom reform. These are your hard earned tax dollars at work. This is what they have arrived at after a few weeks and a few million in funding for the committee, the need for "Top to Bottom Reform."

Whore Judge Blocks Media from Hearing

U.S. District Court Judge Martin Feldman, the same judge who admitted to owning stocks in the oil companies, but who would not recuse himself from hearings on Big Oil in Louisiana, has blocked the media from a hearing concerning renewed drilling in the Gulf.

This is the same judge who ruled that July's moratorium on deep water drilling was too strict because the U.S. Department of Interior solicited no public comment, prior to implementing the drilling moratorium rules.

So which is it, Judge? Public oversight=good? Or public oversight=bad? Obviously, it depends on whether such oversight is good for big oil, or bad for big oil. And can you believe it? It seems the judge, in his honest pursuit of justice, rules in favor of big oil every single time!!

Wow! How did that happen?

Feldman as you may recall struck down the Interior Department's first moratorium in June. At that time, financial disclosure forms located in an Associated Press investigation showed that in 2008 the judge of the Eastern District of Louisiana owned $15,000 in stock from Transocean, owner of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig.

Many media outlets call $15,000 in stock a paltry sum, really nothing to worry about and certainly the judge felt this amount wouldn't in any way necessitate he recuse himself for involvement in this case. Likely because he dumped all the stock and collected all the cash. Payday? What payday? Just $15,000 cash. What?

Yet when you and I fill out our W2 forms, gosh golly, we would certainly have to declare $15,000 of assets in any form. Boy-o-boy, that paltry sum would be substantial enough for us to go to jail if we treated it as negligible. Wouldn't it?

Of course "how in hell is this guy still involved in ruling on this" bla bla bla...etc etc. ad nausea. Right? Of course.

But stop for one second. Breathe. And now consider it.

The guy is a federal judge. He hasn't recused himself from this case and no higher power has removed him. Obviously he has a conflict of interest. Now, he says the media has "no right" to hear decision-making about the re-opening of drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. His decision making!

Run the replay tape in your mind of everything we have been through with this, all of it. All the images of the dead sea life, all the oil, people with open sores on their bodies from the dispersant, Tony Hayward wanting his life back, the gut-wrenching terror at the thought this thing might NEVER be capped.

The media has "no right" to hear what goes on behind this closed door? And this is okay with everyone? And our absentee president is in India of course. Sure, that's okay too. Oh yeah.

And of course you've heard the latest atrocity; the latest coitus justicus interuptus from His Majesty's Presidential Do Nothing Commission, to the effect that "no one single cause," precipitated the Deepwater Horizon Oil spill. Right?

We were really getting somewhere with this business about the Halliburton cement mix, remember? All the nitrogen in the mix? How it was odd? How everyone knew it? And the well was acting up and bucking something fierce, and everyone knew something bad was about to happen but no one had the guts to say anything?

Now? Not so much, children. Shhhhh. Go back to sleep. How about some chocky milk? And blanky? You want I should sing you a song, or read a story?

This while those involved slither away from potential litigation we suppose, while someone else gets their pockets lined. All deals made in the back rooms with the dirty little whores, and those infamously closed doors.

I think Boardwalk Empire's Nucky Thompson is more honest than Judge Feldman.

You want my honest opinion? I think Judge Martin Feldman is a dirty goddamn whore unworthy to even walk the boards in Atlantic City during Prohibition.

But brace yourself, that's all you're going to get from the bright-idea, think-bank of the republican-controlled congress. Scrap alternative energy as means to get the economy moving, reduce oil spills, and reduce our need for foreign entanglements because they have demonized it with the catchy term "cap and trade."

Worse, so-called democrats have been feigning interest in alternative energy for years; all the while taking cash under the table continuing the mush-mouth, limpotent ruse that they actually give a damn.

Don't expect help from the right. They will continue to look into the camera and spew this gibbering canine excrement with total conviction: "cap and trade is a jobs killer!"

They also like nuclear, much the way they like oil, because of the large initial investments required for start-up. This means construction contracts, massive outlays for materials, engineering. These kinds of projects have more sheer tonnage of bribe money and kick backs available for the taking.

Prediction: all the sudden, the word will get out that unless we do something about Iran, as in yesterday, the world is going to go to hell in a hand-basket. We will be ushered to massive warfare on a new front. If you throw up a hand in protest, you will be deemed unchristian, unpatriotic, all-together un. Again, nothing provides for kick-backs, thievery and bribes, like a little psuedo-christianity/patriotism and a whole whopping shitload of fear.

Just as news about Halliburton's faulty cement mix surfaces, we get more home-front pseudo terrorism in the form of "plots" that are "thwarted" along with undated media file footage, and stills of "terror devices," such as printer cartridges and electronic components.

Caption writers, if you still exist: what the hell are we looking at, please?

That's twice the news cycle was interrupted by incompetent "terrorists" uh-gin! sidetracking interest in Halliburton's participation in the BP oil disaster. This time it was a report by the National Oil Commission that the cement used in the Macondo well was unstable which preceded the terror plot by minutes. Halliburton is challenging the commission's findings of course .

Uh-Ghin! there is a Dubai connection, where Halliburton has its overseas nest of operations. In this case, the first package was actually discovered in Dubai on THURSDAY, same day as the cement story.

Still can't find out whether this is Halliburton's world headquarters. It is an established fact they have major international offices offices there for tax-free purposes.

Also, the American news media, especially CNN doesn't like to mention Dubai. They mention it once, as having something to do with the case, (WHERE THE FIRST FUCKING ALLEGED BOMB WAS FOUND, GUYS!) then promptly forget.

Thursday the special investigative committee looking into the BP oil spill released its findings that the nitrogen rich slurry down-hole in the Macondo well was likely unstable and that all aboard the vessel in both companies knew damned well this was the case.

This was immediately bumped off the front page Friday, as a terror alert was issued as traffic at McCarran Airport was stopped so that suspicious packages from Yemen could be searched.

And well they should be. Let's not take me wrong. Real terrorism exists, I just don't believe this last threat was a case of it.

But the new TerrorismLITE (TM) has a habit of following on the heels of any big news related to Halliburton, its cement mix and BP, GOSH GOLLY. This time, that heel-time was measured in minutes.

Someone in Saudi Arabia "tipped off" authorities that a flight from Yemen had the bad stuff aboard a UPS cargo plane. The run-down on who, what, why someone in Saudi Arabia, where the USGovCorp maintains much of its intelligence community for the middle east, is now water under the bridge and well downstream.

Curiously, CNN keeps running these images of alleged terror weapons but they never fuhhhhucking! tell you whether these devices pictured are the ones actually found on the recent "terror attack"! Nope. Not gonna do it. You are left sitting there asking "how did they get photos of the weapons so fast?"

I bet you think those devices are the ones they recently found, don't you?

Well if they are, the folks at CNN won't say so! They won't differentiate between the most recent developments and what is more likely file footage of other suspicious packages and devices.

"Here's a photo of something, it might well be the insides of a Hoover vacuum cleaner for all any of us know, but here it is! Whatever the hell it is, or isn't... and hey, we're the Most Trusted Name in NewsLite(TM)."

FORNICATE CNN. C'mon. Let's just render an opinion here: It gives the public hind-tit when it comes to the truth, and it does so intentionally.

This incident in part mirrors the last act of pseudo terrorism where a curiously photogenic man "left" all the makings of a "bomb" on a busy New York City Street, before boarding a flight to Pakistan with connection through Dubai. This dangerous man was knowingly permitted to board the flight, presumably putting all the lives of some two hundred passengers at risk. Another inconsistency in the story that is glazed over by the big media players in between commercials.

Was this even a credible threat?

The most recent activity, as Chris Mathews pointed out Friday - well, as much as corporate slave-masters permitted him to - has to be one of the most circumlocutious "attempts" at terrorism, ever. You put the devices inside UPS packages destined ultimately for a couple of synagogues in Chicago. That's the official story on this anyway.

Okay (shakes hands wobbles cheeks in disbelief) I'd be delighted to know what was printed on the label, right?

Mathews said it best. Is someone inside the synagogue even going to open this?

Mathews also had the guts - likely had to fight for it with his producers at MSNBC - to put a "where's Dick Cheney/Halliburton" comment immediately following his take on the terror "plot."

The newest terror threat would accomplish three things in the agenda of someone working for Halliburton, or Dick Cheney, or anyone within that whole nest/cabal of fascist, scumbag traitors to their country.

1. Make-work for more for weapons' manufacture.

2. Fear at election time favoring GOP candidates.

3. Bump the old Halliburton cement story right the hell off the front page.

Just in case you missed USA Today on this date, scientists working under a contract for Greenpeace, and from a state university in Mississippi reportedly found one hell of a lot of oil all over the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. Also discovered were persistent trace amounts of toxic dispersant 50 miles from the Macondo well near Louisiana.

That's right, the dispersant that was supposed to break down quickly in the environment, posing no threat?

Chief Scientist on the Research trip finding the oil was Kevin Yeager of the University of Southern Mississippi.

Yeager, Southern Miss U, Greenpeace and company, have the right stuff whereas our officials from NOAA continue to lie to us.

Months back I told you about the science taking a powder: the NOAA administrated science black-out. We discussed how the government response team was trying to corral all science under the NOAA aegis. The agency would then begin the process of whitewashing and downplaying the affair as only droning, plodding, maddeningly foot-dragging, give-a-shit government thick-heads can do. Hell they write manuals on how to stymie serious inquiry into colossal screw-ups; especially ones the government helped create.

This latest development which I found buried in my local paper on page A-4 just shows you how bad the government is lying, has been and will continue to do so, with regard to the spill.

Last week Steve Lehman a scientist working for NOAA told the Times-Picayune "The concept of a big oil slick sinking to the bottom is kind of an anathema," he said. "We have not found anything that we would consider actionable at 5,000 feet or 5 feet."

There's a point when governmentalese, designed to confuse and misdirect, must be called what it is: a damn lie. Making the person who said it, a damn liar, along with his agency. The word "god" was stricken from the previous statement in a self-edit; merely in a nod to those who have asked for not quite so much angry cursing from me.

Too strong still? Let's take a look.

The context of the word "anathema" makes it seem Steve's indicating that there is a fallacy in thinking regarding this notion (oh, silly naive us and our notions) of oil persisting on the sea floor this very minute. This professorial word tries to imply that our childish notion - that 200 million gallons simply cannot have so soon vanished into thin air - is without merit or a basis in fact. However the definition of anathema - and it's not meant to be used with a modifying article, Steve - is something very different.

Anathema person or thing that is loathed.

The other part of his statement is parsed with legalese;"actionable" It is not a scientific term at all. What it does is, totally let BP off the hook for clean-up of any oil found on the sea floor within "5 feet of water, or 5,000." Done. Over. End of story. They don't have to clean this oil up.

Why? Because NOAA just said so. NOAA is now in charge under the response team coordination/science black-out for deeming what's actionable and what's not. Media missed this, by the way. It's huge. NOAA says no clean up of any oil found on the bottom.

Why? Because such oil deposits where ever found, have been deemed not worthy of collection, not that such deposits don't exist, aren't deadly or toxic but that they are legally in-actionable, for whatever dismissive reason of governmental not-give-a-f*ck; about you, your seafood, your ocean, or your continued survival.

No science, being responsible science, in their dim view.

There is no question that within the vast expanses of sea floor being discussed here since May 20, there hasn't been time for NOAA or ANY organization to FIND, or DISCOVER where all the oil might be, or what might the damage from such deposits might pose to the environment in the future.

Such discoveries would take years to sort out as far as impacts. Yet, we ponder the wonderfulness of NOAA yet again.

Let's flow out their logic.

NOAA: "Seventy-six percent of 200 million gallons is all gone. Bye bye."

ALL: "WTF? Are you serious? That doesn't even make sense!"

NOAA: "No no, that's not quite right. It's been handled. It's accounted for. Tiny quantities. Itty bitty tar balls."

USF: "Bullshit, here's some right over here."

Woods Hole Oceanographic: "Hey look, here's some more over here!"

NOAA: "Well is it really oil from this well? C'mon."

ALL: "Hell yes it is!"

NOAA: (pause. Nothing. Mumbling. Kind of a mewling sound like a goat chewing food and bleating at the same time)

Then Later

NOAA: "Any oil found on the bottom anywhere , and we hope you don't catch this, is AN anathema, yeah, that's it. And furthermore its inactionable. End of story, close the book, cut, print, check the gate, we're moving on."

Southern Miss U: "Hey wow, a shitload of oil over here, guys!"

NOAA: (mummed silence)

Yes, and so it will continue. As these new deposits are discovered by other agencies and universities who have taken the initiative to actually find the oil - not within the pages of Obama-drafted back room compromises and deal - but actually within the environment; BP will respond to such reports with utter Shynxian silence. The government through lying NOAA will issue bland statements of falsehood such as these.

It makes you wonder why we pay scientists, spokespeople and all their slow-moving, mush mouth staff to continue to lie straight into our faces via a tone-deaf docile media?

What is this telling you?

Candidates don't want to offend the oil money.

Look at it objectively:the biggest single ecological disaster to hit this country since the dust bowl is caused, this time, by a single corporation and its subcontractors.

It happened because an entire industry has been deregulated to the extent our government officials actually were having sex - actual sex! not figuratively in bed with, not metaphorically "playing footsie" no, this time actually fornicating - with the businesspeople they were supposed to be regulating.

Nothing was done. No one was even fired. And certainly no one went to jail.

Plaquemines Parish Louisiana President Billy Nungesser walked out of a meeting in Tampa where BP officials discussed the bilious topic "what have we learned?"

Billy just couldn't stand the bullshit anymore. It was about to give him a damned heart attack. He could feel it coming.

A woman in the big bend area of my state found oil in a bag of oysters sold to her as clean. Oil keeps washing ashore in Louisiana. The bayou is still choked with crude. And BP is quietly disengaging from the disaster it created.

The media has gone away.

Oh, CNN did a hand-washing ten minute segment yesterday, to commemorate the six month clock-tick on it. But Jon Roberts and Kiran Chetry sloughed off recent reports with ridiculous smiles and all is well banter.

"We've moved on now. Things are better. Things getting back to normal"

Despite the fact the woman they were interviewing kept having to restate the heart of the issue: "responsible science takes years and years" to determine the actual impact. She had to keep saying it. You could see by the look on her face, she was annoyed at the fog of stupidity.

You know, the way your boss doesn't want to hear you when you ask for something important?

"Boss my kid is throwing up in class I have to go get him, now."

"Yeah, but, you'll take care of that thing, right?"

"Boss, my kid is like actually vomiting, projectile, on his fellow classmates!"

"Oh sure, he's okay, right? You'll take care of that thing first, right?"

As with the financial melt down, the liars who are responsible are likely to be the ones singing the hand-wringing refrain "what have we learned?" the loudest. They will be found all over government. Like Nungesser said, they will also be the ones talking about how their boots were on the ground, but had not one drop of oil on their own shirts.

Back to our politicians.

Everything else but the oil spill, which should be at the top of the list.

Is our system corrupt? Do politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle continue to take bribe money from BP and other big oil interests?

If you answered yes, how long do you think it's going to take for us to seriously develop an alternative energy strategy for this nation?

On Finance Reform, Foreclosures and Evictions

I haven't posted in a while. And I deeply apologize for that.

What I have been doing is some research on a book I have been writing when I came across an old poem dedicated to a rack renter landlord in Ireland in the 1890 time frame.

When the family and I went to Ireland in 2007 we visited an old manor home called Portumna Castle in east Galway. Inside were some paintings of the family members that ran the estate. Finding them interesting I snapped a pic of each of the portraits, really not knowing why.

I researched them this morning, I discovered I was staring into the face of one of the worst rack renters in Irish history and who perhaps had a hand in the removal of one of my ancestors from County Galway.

I give you Hubert George de Burgh, 2nd Marques, 14th Earl of Clanricarde. There he is.

The reason he's here is simple: even as we speak people are being evicted from their homes. Different from many foreclosures, these are folks whose banks are using robo-signatures and other illegal methods to speed the illegal foreclosure process.

Where in Clanricarde's day, a land agent used a battering ram against the side of the house, for renters who couldn't make the extortionate payments of their landlords; today we have robosigned documents ousting people from their upside down mortgages just when they almost get rightside up.

I think bankers, financiers and elected officials need to tread very carefully around the boiling kettle of public distaste all of this mess has engendered within the American public. While corporate media has many of us like lemmings following the party of the tea, the people who have been and are being boosted from their homes ILLEGALLY are waking up to who is really at fault for all this - bankers and Wall Street thugs - and to the fact that much of this was done in a DELIBERATE EFFORT which is on-going TO DESTROY THE MIDDLE CLASS.

We have to combine what has happened with the outrage of the oil spill to understand THAT ALL OF THIS IS INTENTIONAL and some of the very same people claiming to be outraged at an alleged scheme for a communist take-over and being paid under the table to ship even the bad jobs to China.

Obama's Three-Card Monty on Oil Comes to Light

This just in: the Obama White House has been completely full of shit with regard to the spill and the extent of its damage, all along the garden path they have been leading us down.
Obama gets no more apologies from me, no more excuses. His presidency is two years old. This is a colossal up-fuck, that your president is running from like a scared child who has been caught lying to everyone!
Lies. Falsehoods. Misrepresentations. Downplaying. Applying pressure on those uncovering the truth. All but telling responsible scientists to "STFU already."
This, from your, my, (quote signs here) Environmental President.
This was confirmed earlier this week in a report by a congressional commission chaired by former Florida governor and state senator Bob Graham.
A couple of months back I pointed out the absurdity of our continued use of BP as a government contractor in light of everything happening. Many of us still boycott the oil giant, but, our government seems not to give a shit as to our wishes and continues to use them in spite of our own laws. Obama, it must now be said, is well on-board with this incestuous relationship between BP and the government.
In August I wrote a post about the Bogus "Oil Budget" document put out by NOAA that said 76 percent of the oil had gone bye-bye. The video has mysterious been removed from YouTube. It was testimony of a government official from NOAA challenging his own boss's ridiculous conclusions in her white-paper.
Now the chickens come home to roost. However this in itself is a half-truth covering over a deeper lie. It's a small hit taken by the Obama administration. While on the one hand unfavorable news comes out relative to the administration's handling of the event, it still can be explained away as accidental, as reliance on the good faith of the oil company providing the information, and the ineptitude of NOAA. Again we get "oops" as a answer to all this.
I'm tired of "oops." "Ooops" is no longer a viable excuse. "Ooops" is not an option.
It's bad faith. It stinks to hell. It's corruption at the highest levels of this country. It's cover-up. It's a willful lie.
And we will never get to the bottom of it, because the republicans have shut off subpoena power.

And yet, you expect the American public to believe, it is a GOOD thing, that you are blocking a special committee set up to investigate it from having full subpoena powers?

"Yes, exactly. We need to block the committee from getting subpoena power!"

Why? Isn't a subpoena the method that compels witnesses to the witness stand so you can get them under oath?

"This accident does not rise to the level, legally speaking, of requiring such a drastic measure."

What the fuck are you talking about? After all that has happened? THAT doesn't rise to the level of necessity in this case? What sort of gibberish is that?

"You're mishearing me. I didn't say doesn't rise to that level, I said, the commission is stacked by Mr. Obama. We want a bi-partisan commission appointed by congress."

No. That's not what you just said. I'll read it back if you like.

Okay, Uncle Buck. I'll play along. The commission is in fact, a congressionally-appointed commission, isn't it? It has Bob Graham on it for God's sake. You can't get more fair and balanced, can you?

Is it really just the case that you people are corrupticians paid off by BP to make this thing go away? Can it truly be that every whack conspiracy theory, from the business about Cheney and Halliburton, on through the putrid corruption storied about the Minerals Management Service, is all actually true, and you bribed, paid-off soulless scumbags - who likely are destined for the flames and cinders of hell if there IS a God - are just that damned diseased in your souls you want to keep the information from all of us?

Science BLACK-OUT IS HERE

A couple weeks back I wrote about the Science Black-Out that was being planned for the BP oil spill in the Gulf.

It has arrived. Scientists are just now waking up to the fact that the U.S. Coast Guard will be be in strict control of the $500 million in research funds taken from BP's coffers. That is to say no one from the scientific community will have a voice in where the funds should be spent.

While at least one bright spot exists, the Florida Institute of Oceanography will get $10 million of that, the question lingers. Will a Coast Guard Board of governors be objective, or even scientific?

The U.S. government has shown itself to be in lock-step with BP to settling on $20 B in clean-up, and moving on.

The U.S. Coast Guard is a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Fact. BP is THE top provider of petroleum to the Pentagon. Fact.

They (the very important people) will tell you this in no way represents a conflict of interest. There's no whitewash here.

Really? Thad Allen admits here that 'how clean is clean' in the Gulf Oil Spill will not be based on science so much as negotiation. In the first post, Thad is driving it home that Janet Lunchenco, who wrote the white-paper called, the oil budget, declaring 76 percent of the oil had simply vanished will be in charge of analyzing all the findings. Thad stands by that in his latest statements.

Another question is, if $10 million of the cash is thrown to FIO in a nod to objectivity and serious inquiry, and $490 million is thrown into studies which are pre-arranged for favorable BP skew, what does that do to the overall findings? Little more than a science brown-out, or fudge out. Reasonable science shouted down by an alleged "overwhelming preponderance of evidence" that all the oil, like magic, simply went away.

The Witch is NOT dead because the witch is the BS

The well may be dead but the gusher of unmitigated BS has not stopped flowing. Here is an example of the timid media being shewed off the job without knowing their own rights nor putting up a fight.

One calms down enough to realize the law officer is using the excuse of the sea turtles as a means to deflect inquiry - as in how deep is the oil? and what is the thickness of the oil layer? and over how large an area did unscrupulous contractors merely sand over it? Not that a layer of oil eight inches to a foot deep doesn't impede the sea turtles fight to dig themselves out of their nests, not that tilling the sand to hide all that oil didn't destroy untold thousands of sea turtle eggs, rending this particular beach a dead zone for the reptiles.

But "you can't film in a national park"? Pure excrement. Nonsense that every cub reporter knows is false unless this is a sensitive military base. Is this the case? Hell (to the) fuck (to the) no. Of course, limp-wristed corporately slavish media will not push to protect OUR first amendment, which reads as follows:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

In the case of corporate poisoning and environmental rape and subsequent cover up, we the people have the right to investigate for ourselves what has taken place on public lands. Beaches in Florida are all in the public domain. These are facts. They are unconditional and non-negotiable.

Another example. This morning Thad Allen, disaster presider, went on CNN to congratulate the protracted outcome and deflect questions, whereupon he was rewarded with a cheery send-off from Kira Philips and John Roberts. The all is well bon voyage was more befitting a rock star or former prime minster. They did everything but ask him whether he's writing a book, which, very likely, he will.

Overall, CNN's shilling coverage has proven to be a disgraceful sham; a Machiavellian exercise in intellectual dishonesty, over and over, with regard to this issue. They leave it to Anderson Cooper to ask the tough questions in the evening, then mop up for big corporate in the morning with their Romper Room coverage that swallows any damn swill officialdom feeds them. When Cooper gets too close to the bone, they move him away from the issue entirely, leaving us with downplayed Sesame Street music.

This morning, CNN mentions UGA findings that express without a doubt, the oil from the Macondo well is on the bottom coating the sediment NEAR THE BLOW OUT. Thad let this question slide from his back like grease off a dead mullet's scales. Throwing doubt by saying essentially, this is an unknown.

(Earth to Thad) A 15 car pile up happens. There's still blood on the freeway days later. Do you state for the record "that could be someone else's blood, we don't know." What simpleton would believe this?

This is how much regard they have for the thinking public.

Oh Yeah! Whatever Happened to...?

Here's a little rundown of some of things we've all been conditioned to forget about and have been more than willing to do just that. These are stories that, soon enough, if you recall them, you will be deemed a conspiracy theorist and a nut-job.

Another rig exploded. The last meaningful coverage on this story was Sept. 2. No other mentions since the well-publicized photos of the oil rig on fire in the Gulf. You'll note through this link, that a man calling himself "Phil Jones" does quite a bit of work bashing NPR and other media outlets for "overplaying" the story. Jones appears to have spent his day doing this. He claims the rig did not explode and calls the word "explode" hyperbole. Well, if 13 people thought the fire was too great, the concussion from the ignition too dangerous to remain aboard, that they jumped five stories into the Gulf of Mexico, I don't know what you'd call it, Phil. Call me a shit-for-brains but I say that's an explosion. The timid media backed off the "explode" angle despite photographic evidence. Then the story evaporated, leaving chem trails in links like those found on this page. Open ended stories which will soon be denied as to having ever existed.

A Lybian terrorist was released to Lybia at the urging of BP. Again, this goes no where. This is fact that simply vanished. An oil company thought to involve itself in negotiations for the release of a convicted terrorist who killed 270 civilians above Lockerbie Scotland. They have admitted it. This is one of those toxic pieces of mercury that will scuttle and slide down the drain of history without answer. The last serious coverage on it coming in July.

The $20 billion escrow has not been filled and now BP makes noise that $20 B is too much. Which should alert everyone that perhaps if it isn't enough, someone should be filing a claim who has not done so previously. Scratch that, many of us need to really, really look at it, and see if maybe BP doesn't owe us pain and suffering from this.

The Kill Shot, or Junk Kill, or Top Kill - or whatever in Christ-fuck! Thad Allen is calling it these days - IS NOT COMPLETE AND (perhaps) NEVER WILL BE. The number of lies told on this project is uncountable.

BP continues to destroy Nigeria. You can only imagine the utter chaos and destruction being foisted upon a poor, third world country by this oil giant. We forget there are other people in the world besides ourselves. What we cannot forget is the stone fact that all water is connected and what we do to one body of it, we do to our own, and ourselves.

Our government will roll over on its back like the whelp pup and ask for a belly rub from big oil while it says yes to this arrangement. It is a complete fornicatus fisticus of the Republic, all its laws, good sense, good science and common decency. But those in power will have an excuse or two for agreeing to this continued petty treason, eco-hate crime, corporate terrorism, however you view it. If you listen you can almost hear them drafting and practicing their damnable lies before a mirror. Can you see Ken Salazar in his funny hat, and perhaps some of his staff members, and even Obama? Can you hear their rationalizations and limp-wristed falsehoods? I can. They're at it, right now, as you read these words. Just listen...
The article adequately hits the point, that allegedly the "only way for BP to fill the $20 B coffer" - gosh golly, because BP wouldn't want to reduce their liquid assets and pony up the money NOW, I mean that would hurt the STOCK PRICE! GASP! - is to permit more rapine of the system. But the article missed, perhaps, the larger point that BP continues as sole-source mega supplier of the Pentagon!
This Ouroboros (snake devours self) arrangement is destroying our country, making mockery of our laws, making whores of our politicians, and a bald-faced, lying hypocrite of our fledgling president. It makes a mess of our environment, and a laughing stock of our national image.

The piece of cleaning tissue that NOAA issued, called The Oil Budget, has come under intense scrutiny and has been found to be lacking.

Yet it is an example of the sort of science we should expect from the federal government for the clean up, mop-up, cover-up effort since the spill.

We can look forward to all science regarding this issue, being seived now, through the sanitizing filter of the government "all is well" machine; whatever the reality may be lurking beneath the waves.

On a personal note; my child certainly spent more time on writing up her research paper for her 11th grade science project. The cost of her study, $250. The result? International Science Fair.

This piece of tissue, is what we get for untold millions in NOAA funds.

SCIENCE BLACK-OUT TO BEGIN

If you didn't catch it, Thad Allen, disaster incident commander for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response let it slip in his August 18 interview with CNN that all future science with regard to the disaster will be, coordinated under one umbrella held by NOAA administrator Jane Lubchenco.

The importance of this announcement coming in the mix of conversation with CNN (time 5:07), was, apparently, lost on CNN themselves who haven't followed up.

Conversational tidbits:

"Last week I signed an order that tries to consolidate all the testing for hydrocarbons in the Gulf" Translation: There can be ONLY ONE centralized authority for testing for oil from this disaster. "I signed an order..." sounds fairly ominous. Like he signed that order keeping people 65 feet back from BP's dead sea turtles and dolphins? That kind of order? History says, yes. Precisely.

"...so that we can bring all the academic institutions in the Gulf under the uh, coordination of Janet Lubchenco and NOAA." Translation: No more independent science searching for, and possibly finding (can't have that!) other pockets of massive quantities of oil from the Deepwater Horizon. This will be under the 'uh' Translation: 'how shall we put this?' 'coordination' Translate: control, control, control, censorship and more control.

Some institutions of higher learning will actually like hearing this. Why? There is one source for funding to approach: NOAA. Just like the vessels of opportunity program which is now closing, since (yay!) FISHING IS OPEN! The Science of Opportunity Program, will only include institutions of higher learning who have shown the sound judgment of science for knowing when to print, precisely what is demanded, when to fudge certain data to meet that demand, and when to STFU. Likely, USF - who have shown themselves to be the conscientious polar opposite of STFU - will not be invited.

"Natural resource damage assessment to be paid for by BP," so that BP can tell the U.S. Government how much in fines should be paid, by BP. No, no back-room deals going on here, because, gosh golly, there's aaaaaabsolutely no conflict of interest anywhere in this equation.

As to Allen's caustic little jibe toward those carrying out real science? (Coming around 1:15 in the video) "...some of these other assumptions, by some of these other guys..."

"Some of these other guys" (translate: disreputable) That would be Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, the Oxford University of the science; University of South Florida, Tampa; University of Georgia, Athens.

Woods Hole found a large chunk of the oil Lubchenco and NOAA said is gone or doesn't anymore. In this article, the scientists are quoted and the breakout schematic is enlargeable. Not only have these scientists been tracking this plume since June, they have been getting continuous nay-saying from NOAA and other government agencies. They point out that COREXIT thought to make the oil digestible by microbes, has only served to put it into a very cold, dark, deep environment where it could persist in its harmful state for years to come.

This is something NOAA will likely want to cover up; under the direction of the Obama administration's leadership, which, as we know, is partially or wholly directed by the BP administration.

Here is CNN's coverage of the USF findings of dispersed oil all over the bottom at the Desoto Canyon, which, as one witness reports on Youtube, was quickly stripped down from CNN's homepage. Classic example of evaporating history. Bombshell news story, immediately shunted to the dust bin by upper managers.

What can we expect?

Early reports are surfacing that Lubchenco was an embattled, on the way out administrator who, in order to save her job, lobbed up an impossibly rosy, science challenged, reality challenged picture in her "all is well" report to the administration. A classic case of telling the boss what he wants to hear. A report which is now the basis for the reopening of the entire fishery, and will likely be the roadmap for all future "research" for additional "hydrocarbon" sumps from the spill.

Here's the sort of scientific thinking you can also expect from the director of this new "effort" to "find" the oil still out there from the Deepwater Horizon spill.

BP: TREASON IN EVERY TANKFUL

Every time you fill up your tank at a BP you are committing treason to the United States of America.

Tiny treasons all, with every purchase. They add up to big treason.

Some of you can't see it. You're lulled by the advertisements with the sell-out who happens to have the right accent, telling you "BP is here for the long haul."

BP is not here for the long-haul. BP is in it to haul ass, just as fast as they can. And, your treasonous government, is going to help them do it.

That's right: treason. Say the word. Use it. It is what's happening to you. Why not familiarize yourself with reality. Treason and fraud.

Recently the Obama administration strongly urged BP to place $2 billion in the escrow fund for damages to Gulf Coast business. Then, quietly pushed congress to allow BP to tie future revenues to filling the remainder of the fund - the other 18 billion.

That's right. You pay for the damages, through the gas tank. Do you love it? Obama handed them a link between your participation at the gas pump and the reparations to the Gulf Coast residents and businesses.

Now, if you boycott, which is your right, and I think your duty, BP and your government can come along - and they WILL - and say that YOU are harming the Gulf Coast residents who need your help by not filling up at BP.

Those BP commercials reminding you not to boycott, are currently in the works, there is no doubt of this. This is their next logical move to extricate themselves from this situation as rapidly and as cheaply as they can: to convince the public that buying BP gas, despite everything they have done, is GOOD for the very victims they have created out of our citizenry.

Obama will likely be making a public service announcement to this affect as well, to go along with this campaign, wherein he will specifically ask you NOT to boycott BP. The final insult to your sense of reality and your intelligence.

You can see that, can't you? That's not too far fetched?

I can even script it for him. Picture him in his customary Oxford shirt, jeans, no tie. Sunset along some Gulf Coast beach. He stares into the camera and says....

"America, people along the Gulf Coast need your help. Now is not the time to boycott. Now is the time to pull together, put our petty angers aside and pitch in and help the victims of this terrible tragedy."

I can hear him already. Can't you?

Now is not the time to let down our guard, or stop watching and listening to what is going on. Now is not the time to forgive, forget, or let our foot off the throat of this corporation. The boycott needs to go on, it needs to hurt them more, not less, than it is now. We are relaxing our grip on them, and we should not.

Things are about to get very strange. You need to watch. This is your country going to hell in a hand-basket here. A corporation, federal government, the president, and both parties are shoving this process along.

Think how strange things already are!

A terrorist who killed American men women and children along other innocent civilians from many nations was released to a Lybian dictator at the urging of this company. Fact.

Everyone including Obama stood around and watched it happen, saying nothing until it was too late.

Senators and other elected officials have publically apologized to BP for our impotent attempts to hold the company accountable; or at least make a show of it for the cameras.

Our government has given the company the tools and time, and the excuses it needs to hide vast quantities of oil. Oil that was inconveniently discovered by University of South Florida in Tampa, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Despite even the basics of scientific principles known to every eighth grade science student, science advisors for the Obama administration - some of whom are Nobel Prize winners - have stood idly by while grotesque quantities of toxins were spread all along the Gulf waters. This same group then, without the first meaningful study, sounded the all clear to open the fishery again.

The media will not help you. It has collectively decided that the train is leaving the station, on to more lurid, divisive stories in this election cycle of Hollywood East.

Those who seemed to care so deeply about you, have now abandoned you to the worst fraud and treason ever perpetrated by our government on the citizenry.

What are you going to do?

You need to continue to boycott BP. You need to clip up your gas cards; yes the same gas cards whose interest payments alone were enough to bribe officials in the MMS.

The thought of using a gas station with the BP logo on it, should fill you with dread. It should anger you that others are still doing it.

Remind them. Don't be afraid to call out to them from the intersection.

The fishermen of Mississippi know what's going on. (See videos in previous post)

A roomful of suits want to reopen the fishery as soon as possible, to hell with consequences, to hell with science, to hell with what everybody sees in the water, to hell with future generations of fishermen, to hell with the safety of seafood consumers everywhere.

Why would public officials be rushing to do that which could be most harmful?

Money.

The sooner there is no excuse NOT to go back in the water and fish, the sooner the fishermen's future claims of lost wages can be invalidated by BP, or the government's "incident" money czar, Ken Feinberg.

So, how does that work? Does someone get paid to make it happen?

You think?

Do you think BP doesn't have a little bit of grease money lying around to get the system moving again? About the best damned thing they do, the quickest damned thing they do is sling that check book out when a public official leans on them even just a little bit. Ask Charlie Crist!

Who else might stand to benefit?

Look at it: catch don't come in? Fish houses don't get paid, and the ice packers don't get paid and the companies that haul the seafood don't get paid. And then the banks don't get paid. And we can't have that.

Everything hinging on this little commish giving the go ahead to send the little chillin', the aquatic field hands, back into the water. The ugly scene is being played out in Louisiana, Alabama and Florida as well.

Why the mistreatment and pressure? Why use sports anglers as vessels of opportunity more than shrimpers, trawlers and such?

Because that's the wedge. The carrot. If you don't toe that line, lift that barge and so on, you don't get the cookie. If you speak up about the state or condition of the seafood, or even raise your hand for a say in the matter, you NEVER get that cookie.

Sport fisherman doesn't bring in the dinner, he brings in the tourist. Government has no wedge against him. They NEED to KEEP that wedge against the primary producers. They need to keep them quite, obedient, in line. "Yes, sir. No sir. How high, sir? What color, sir?" Get the picture?

But is the seafood safe?

Oh who the hell knows and who the hell cares. BP certainly thinks so! After all it's the fishermen themselves that might get sued if the shellfish, or the shrimp is bad. The lawyers will wander back the distribution chain until they find somebody they can sue and get away with it. Someone who can only afford an attorney who went to night school, not Yale or Harvard.

And who might that be?

(sigh) You just aren't listening here, are you.

The men on the commission at the front of the room, are who precisely?

Governor Haley Barbour's appointees.

Barbour rushed into the mix early on in the disaster to assure his fellow citizens of the Magnolia State that the oil was "just a sheen" on the surface of the water. Nothing to fear.

Governors appoint people, give them power, often so that they can apply the subtle drifts and intrigues needed to make the votes go the way they want them too.

Watching these videos was, for me, like a trip back in time, to the warm, slow days of the deep south, as it existed here in East Central Florida, during more city council meetings than I can count.

The public officials aren't concerned at all how their arrogance jumps off the proceedings through the video. They seem prepared to bully, steamroll, insult, ignore then forget the fishermen and their concerns. Just the way rascally ole city councilmen and county commissioners used to do here in Florida; before they woke up to at least the 20th Century, if not the 21st.

These aldermen, commissioners as they called themselves put a very poor face on Mississippi. Lot of work to do there, one can suppose. A lot of education will be needed.

Open government laws, perhaps. Do they even have these in Mississippi or is it still THAT back-woods that elected folks on public boards can have secret meetings without the press, to conspire and divvy up the winnings on sad-sack Harry the hapless taxpayer?

Sure seems that way.

The fishermen in the video, point out that not one of the folks on the board were voted in, by the people who actually work on the water. The Vietnamese fishermen mentioned here, hapless pawns and race card fodder, might not be that up on the news of the day to know they even have rights, or are permitted to fight for them, apart from cow-towing to the one commissioner.

Is Tennessee Williams writing the script for this video somewhere? High, sultry southern drama.

For allegedly rustic and uneducated folks prone to rage, and so on, these fishermen displayed commendable restraint, and unfailingly refined southern manners when they were insulted and baited by at least one member of the brutish commission; the one in charge of "his" Vietnamese fishermen.

Just ghastly. Appalling. A lurid spectacle indeed. All public officials in Mississippi, go hide. Hang your head in shame. Fishermen? Hold yours up, for you dared ask that which needed to be asked. And you did it for all of us.

You can see where this is going.

The fishery will be opened. Things will get shoveled under the water.

How do we know?

Why do you think they call it Corexit? It takes the oil and turns it into dense little balls which sink below the mixing layer. Below 300 feet in the open sea.

The mixing layer is the upper level of the water column, where the wind and tides mix up the water. You carry the oil and dispersant down below that and it can remain there out of sight out of mind for years.

Trouble is, the greatest migration on the face of the earth happens in the water, right across the mixing layer, every single damned day.

Creatures from the depth, large and small, march right on up to the surface at night to follow the dwindling light, and warmth, then they move on back down when the sun comes up.

Whatever poison is in the water, whatever they have ingested is carried with them. Which is et on by larger fish, and larger and so on, until it is et on, by all of us.

Does this matter?

The fishermen seem to think so. They should know best, they are out there every day, for generations.

Will anyone listen to them, or will they be lashed by master's whip back out into the field?

The Wizardry of Thad Allen

No one has ever explained why Thad Allen still serves as "incident commander," when the retired U.S. Coast Guard admiral's true calling, is that of a wizard.

He is able to alter the fabric of space time and change the past. That's the reason he seems to be continuously lying to us; and yet is so convincing, so emphatic.

In the retroactive, quantum physics world of Thad Allen, tachyons from the present move backwards in time and change history, all at his direction! Things he appears to have said, now don't exist in the new timeline. Events that have occurred have been erased.

As we know, Google search engines are merely encased in lead in the basement at Google HQ. and thus, are somewhat resistant to Allen's tachyon bursts jetting from his fingertips. Google should immediately remove the lead so that the version of Allen that exists in our future, can have an easier time of it.

Prime example: The bottom kill has been just hours away, from getting under way, for months now. A new article today has Allen telling us "there is no timetable" for the beginning of bottom kill. Not only that, "it's never been done before."

On July 7, Allen said the relief well was ahead of schedule, but conservatively placed the completion of the well at Mid-August. But we now know "there is no schedule." Never has been. He's a genius I tell you! NASA needs this man, now!

Bottom kill is the procedure they - Allen and BP - had assured us was the sure-fire method for finally sealing off the well. Absolutely. "It's been done before" his former self said, pre-tachyon burst on July 29.

There are also hundreds of schematic representations from CNN and other networks of the infallible bottom kill. Allen's former self assured us, the Ixtoc blow-out was a prime example of a blow-out killed using bottom kill.

But Allen must have sent a warning back in time to the 1970s preventing the Ixtoc blow out from happening at all. Because now, it, along with the method used to stop it, don't exist anymore. You'll notice he never mentions the Ixtoc blow-out these days. (whispering) it never happened.

One of his great feats was approving unknown, uncounted quantities of COREXIT, then going back in time, physically, to count the gallons of the formerly-toxic chemical to come up with a figure AND ALSO rendering it harmless! In so doing, earning "MERLIN" level wizard certification.

There are times when he uses his strange powers to control the present. Take the number of times he assured us there was no pressure on the media exerted by the Coast Guard at the direction of BP.

Damn you GOOGLE! Damn those YOUTUBE vids, locked in your lead-sealed vaults!

Apparently lead is also found in the heads of Anderson Cooper and James Carville. Here they seem befuddled at numbers they are recalling from the altered past. All these figures Cooper and Carville are referencing here, have been changed, and we now exist in the clean time line.

Cooper was sent to Haiti by the good medical doctors working for CNN to relieve the condition with chelation therapy. Carville was given time-out from CNN for suggesting "get a bat and beat these people over the head."

Cooper also was disciplined by his handlers at CNN because he failed to recognize WHY the military were preventing camera-folks from filming the formerly-dead birds. Everyone knows that when the tachyon bursts are doing their work erasing the past, blindness to the witnesses is a result. We note that the National Guardsman HAD the correct titanium and cobalt protective lenses in place. The cameraman did not.

What does it look like when the incident commander uses his tachyon bursts? Well, when they are projected from the present into the past, tachyons cannot be seen by the naked eye. However, we here at Black Gulf have been able to detect them jetting from Allen's fingertips by using our own pocket hadron-collider, located within our own labs.

The following is the footage we studied. You'll note Allen is forced to squint, and shift his eyes away from the tachyon beams while he alters the past, present and future.

While you have to click through to CNN's web-page for another example it is worth looking at. The video show's Allen working his magic again. A firm estimate that 76 percent of the oil is "gone" has been morphed by his magic to mean "accounted for".

He also tells you every reason why, U.S. Government scientists, who, after all, have nooooo incentive whatsoever at this point fudging their data, should be believed over the recent findings of independent researchers at USF, Tampa.

OUR GOVERNMENT IS A DISGRACE

The bioaccumulation of Corexit into the food chain is poorly understood, according to the abstract of this study by the University of California's department of ocean and marine sciences.

However this quote from the study's findings is pretty clear "...Thus, chemical dispersant use in oil spill response may reduce short-term uptake but not long-term accumulation of hydrocarbons such as PHN in pelagic fish"

PHN is a typical hydrocarbon, or oil molecule. So according to this study, over the long haul the COREXIT may not even work to help keep oil out of the food chain and may, in fact, produce a toxic effect in larger fish species we eat.

Another article from Mother Jones, goes into greater detail about toxins in dispersants and hydrocarbons in crude oil.

What does this all mean?

Some of our public officials ringing the all-clear bell, while wearing the all-is-well smile need to be dragged from their desks and thrown into the street without their pensions, at the very least. They are serving no purpose.

They aren't protecting us, the environment, or the food supply.

What purpose do they serve?

Ken Salazar has fired no one from the MMS since it was let out that some of those who approve oil leases, were also accepting sex, drugs and lap dances from the very big oil flacks they were supposed to be scrutinizing at arms-length as a part of their job function. It is a federal crime to accept bribes as a U.S. Government official. No one has been prosecuted. But now, the allegations are being investigated, two years after the fact. Essentially, criminal investigators are doing the job for Salazar while he still earns a massive paycheck, for doing what, precisely? (He certainly earns more in a day than the unemployed he's supposed to be protecting, do in a week.)

And he does spend some time on Facebook. So he's got that going for him. Note, he lists himself as "politician". (Seconds after posting, the term was apparently removed from Facebook profile for Ken Salazar. At least he's quick on the draw about that!)

Thad Allen........need we say more?

NOAA's top administrator Jane Lubchenco can, just by osmosis, tell us for sure than NO bioaccumulation of toxins from all this is occurring. We can believe her, of course, because she seems angry and after all, what do oceanographers from the University of South Florida, in Tampa know about the Gulf of Mexico? Pfft. After all Jane was confirmed by the Senate on March 19 last year and USF has been working in and around the Gulf for decades.

Leave off the absurdity of what she says here. "Fish will degrade that oil and process it naturally so it will not bioaccumulate." Of course, this is like saying "the sky is blue, but, actually not blue." By nature of 'processing', bio-accumulation has begun. Bio=life. Accumulate, means to posses and add to. How much toxin is taken up by fish flesh from the globules of tar/Corexit emulsion? No one knows.

You know someone is lying when they say something like this, and yet they have a massively extensive background in zoology. This is a pHd, making this scientifically asinine statement!

So where are we? A bribed government, paid off, silenced like a rape victim by a corporate construct continues to abuse and offer us disservice. This while our gelded president continues to make nice with everyone like a puppy. This, while a complacent media watches politely from the sidelines.

What must we do?

At the very least we must march on Washington.

Sometimes we are given a rare glimpse into how things really work in this country, and in the world.

BP is the Pentagon's biggest oil-services provider, according to undisputed yet highly-ignored reports.

The government's rush to shovel this steaming turd of the BP oil spill off the front pages - with the complicity of bribed media, and cowardly journalists who are paid too well to even squeak in protest when told to shut the fuck up and read the news spoon-fed to them - seemingly has its roots in BP's connection to the Pentagon.

One has to ask why the Pentagon would continue to use BP when our laws strictly prohibit the government from using contractors who are in violation of federal laws? One would also question why federal regulators would be fining BP billions on the one hand; and with the other take money from BP for brand new oil and natural gas leases in California?

How can a moratorium on Gulf drilling not be the right thing to do with so many questions concerning the safety of blow-out-preventers, and the potential security risks on oil rigs remaining in the 'unknown' column?

How can this be?

How could our nice president, who campaigned on promises of energy and environmental initiatives, have turned on a major segment of the society? How could he so callously - and it borders on criminal - abrogated his duty to protect us, not only from the oil spewed by this evil contractor, but also the unprecedented use of Corexit which is poisoning the fishery?

How could he then issue an "all clear" on the fishery and the beaches with unknowns to health safety and welfare, outstanding?

He didn't seem like someone who was reckless, and psychopathically irresponsible when we voted for him?

Scarcely a year in office and he waves to us from a golf course while unspeakable horrors are being foisted on the environment and decent, hard-working Americans?

How can this be? Why?

In 2002 I was told by several people working for defense contractors that "we will be in Iraq within a year." I happened to be coaching their children in soccer. They stated it as fact, long before there was any vote to invade. They knew.

The decisions for war anymore, are not made in congress. Defense contractors like to joke among themselves that Washington is a show, a sham, a stage play. They call it "Hollywood East." How do you like the sound of that?

The decision to go to war takes place in corporate boardrooms, and is then shoved through congress; lubricated via the diseased innards of our lapdog, corrupt media. And we swallow what comes out the other end.

As this process begins we find we can no longer trust the media which busies itself with divisive non-news by comparison: gays and the non locked in eternal combat; pro-Hispano, pro-Anglo hatred and flair ups; celebrity and contrived-celebrity mishaps. All pablum; shiny objects waved in front of a dog, or a newborn child.

Those of us who wish to actually know what is going on in the world, are left to look through the hazy window, searching for patterns.

Apparently, with all these oil and natural gas contracts opening up, coupled with Obama's strange about-face and opening up waters off the east coast for oil explanation, a vast amount of oil is needed in relatively short order. No, it's not about the growing energy needs of a bustling economy. Don't be soft. There is no economy, stupid!

So why the need for all the new oil - as in, like OMG - yesterday!

The decision to exterminate a vast number of our finest young people, along with millions of fellow earthlings, has been made within the halls of real power: the corporate boardrooms. We are planning for war on a world-wide scale.

How do I know this? The oil spill has opened up that window on this hard truth. And the government is working just has hard, just as unscrupulously, just as murderously, and as furiously as it can to shut that window and bolt it down.

What do we see in the window?

We will murder and steamroll our own people to get that oil. We will poison our seas to cover up for a contractor. We will starve a whole segment of society so that the young, able bodied within that community have no other job prospects.

And, as with any good ole fashioned World War we will serve up a massive economic collapse.

All the patterns from the past are there.

They aren't tea leaves, these are rungs on a hamster wheel, and you and I are the hamsters.

Hacking Google's Continuous News Feed

Some people will stop at nothing. Somewhere there is a hack into this blog page. Just now the continuous news feeds do not show up at the bottom of the page. If I go into admin and set them, they still scroll through. But, you can't see them.

Very likely all you see are notifications that they are loading.

I write from the heart and I write the truth as I see it. Thus, I have been hacked before on so many different blog venues.

Back before blogging really, I was swacked with emails as I struggled to complete my first book, Where Hell Freezes Over. Someone deeply resented the fact I was writing about the U.S. Navy in Antarctica. For some reason or other, the powers don't want you to know about the massive naval mission that took place there in 1946/47. The mission in which my father, William H. Kearns Jr. and his shipmates crashed their seaplane George 1, during a white-out over Thurston Island.

I went through three computers during that time. Each hit with a virus more pernicious than the last.

The news feeds are very important. You could check this page only for the news feeds and I wouldn't mind at all. That's what they are there for, a collection of feeds covering as many aspects of the BP oil spill as I can stuff into the bottom of the page.

There they sit, for now, blocked, turned off.

This means, those doing the hack weren't bothered by the worst of what I had to say in the actual posts, they were bothered by the fact you - just as I do each day - might sit there and watch the stories scroll through, and get an overall view as to what is happening.

This is nothing new to me.

I've joined the ranks of those who believe there are murderous prime movers behind the oil spill in the Gulf, that it was done for a reason.

As someone who knows the U.S. government is capable maintaining horrible and fantastic secrets I may have some insight into this thing that the less conspiratorially inclined do not.

But, at the same time, I find it hard to believe the whole thing was done in order to institute a carbon tax, as Alex Jones does. No, it's much worse than that.

I think bio-uptake, bio-amplification of poisonous toxins into the food chain via Corexit is part of the deal. In essence, our government - I will still say 'apparently' - wants to kill many of us. Quickly, slowly, whatever. Doesn't matter.

What proof do I have?

Well, they are doing it. Very systematically. And they are claiming it is all accidental. Once again, if any of this were accidental, they would eventually make some errors that were not lethal, not toxic. They would have erred on the side that would benefit us.

Listen to me closely now: nothing, they have done, during this entire affair, has been correct. They, BP and our government, have not done one goddamn thing right. Everything they have done with regard to this has been the most harmful. Think about it. They are batting 1000 for hitting all potential negative health impacts. 10 times out of 10, they did what was most harmful to the public, to the environment. Does this seem to make sense to you? Is it credible that it is an accident?

Wake up.

As with all vast conspiracies, you know there is one afoot when tons of people benefit from massive tragedy and that payoff for some - Tony Hayward, Evergreen Avaition, Nalco/Blackstone the Japanese stockholders of Corexit - is instantaneous.

In Hayward's case alone ask yourself in what bizarro universe do you reward a CEO who presided over, then botched the clean-up and public relations effort on, the worst ecological disaster in U.S. history?

They, BP, aren't even being coy about it are they. "Boom, here you go Tony. Good job."

The ethics of a team of science advisors who would go along with the continuous - I will still say 'apparent' - campaign to poison American citizens and destroy our environment can only be described as Hitleresque.

Energy Secretary Dr. Steven Chu is currently Obama's science point man on this fiasco. Chu, a Nobel Prize winner, has a research background in atomic physics and lasers. He has also conducted studies of biological systems. Ignorance of what's good for the environment is not a plausible excuse here. So one must logically question his ethics in advising Obama.

Below you will see a clip in which Chu is babbling to Rachel Maddow. If you can make head or takes of his opening remarks you are a better one than I, Gunga Din. For the remainder of the video clip he evades questions. Maddow usually nails people for doing this, but here, owing to her apparent hero worship of the stratospherically educated, she flinches.

Obama's laissez-faire attitude with regard to BP may come from Dr. Chu's cozy relationship with same. Below Chu is touting BP's projected help in "stewardship of the environment" when BP teamed up with The Lawrence Berkely National Laboratory, which Chu was director thereof, to the tune of $500 million or so? Can this be right? Maddow's usually crack team of researches, missed this one, which was easily discovered by doing a search on YouTube.

So called New World Order "freaks" have theorized that one world government begins through the environmental initiatives. I have to wonder whether or not that is corporate disinformation that has entwined itself on the tree of their solid suspicions like a choking vine.

That's not saying it couldn't be true.

Perhaps what we are witnessing is the second in a series of shocks to our national systems designed to prepare us, condition us, for greater impacts, greater losses of life and liberty. This could be among probing tests to see what we will put up with before we rise in armed insurrection devolving into social chaos.

The studies, to come after the inevitable sickness such ignorant, criminal abrogation of duty will cause, will be used to monitor the long-term effects of ingesting the toxic dispersant, to better estimate of the eventual sickness-mortality rate of those along the entirety of the Gulf Coast region.

Many believe all of this is no accident. Some New World Order theorists, who are seeming more credible day by day, believe the intentional poisoning of an entire population was the aim of this vast experiment all along.

Like any chemical tainting in the food chain, the active ingredients in Corexit are subject to bio-amplification. These chemicals are picked up by fish larvae, and plankton, which are ingested by larger and larger marine life forms.

Those fish at the top of the food chain, such as large predator fishes - mackerel, tuna, barracuda, king-fish, Dolphin, Mahi, many of which are prised for their edibility, then have proportionally higher concentrations of the toxins in their flesh.

Humans consume the fish, and the filter feeders, such as clams, oysters, shrimp, and receive potentially lethal levels of the toxins.

There are already examples of this in nature such as ciquatoxin, a bio-accumulated poison that comes from a form of plankton, which gets et by smaller fish, which are et on by larger fish and so on. Ciquatoxin can kill you, if the fish you have et on, has a lot of it, in its tissue. Which is why, as every Caribbean fisherman knows, you should not eat the Great Barracuda, ever.

Since reality television has rendered us with the collective attention span of the American ground squirrel, let us review.

The Lockerbie bomber was release on humanitarian grounds in 2009 in the hopes that he had only three months to live. But the bastard draws free breath as we stare at our computer screens together.

Imagine the man's face as he breathes. There goes another, and another. Did you see that last one? He smirked! Did you catch that?

He received a hero's welcome home, after, gosh-golly, someone got his ass out of jail.

And there was this buzz, see? this cloud of taint surrounding BP; whispers alleging BP had something to do with orchestrating the murderer's release behind the scenes.

The puffing of cheeks, the wobbling of nervous sweaty hands, blustery sounds expelled from mouth, perspiration on the brow.

Oh, and guess what? BP are just moments away from firming up their arrangement to drill for oil in Lybian waters, ever so close to inking the deal!

There were reports a British intelligence officer, who now, gosh golly, works for BP, had a shitload of time put in rubbing elbows with the Gaddafis.

There were reports that upper echelon managers for BP made discreet inquiries - but not quite arm bending; no, no, nothing like that - into whether or, if, or when, perhaps, mother may I pretty please, Mr. Meghari might find himself on the other side of the nasty ole' wall of shame and en route to Lybia.

BP: "We were randomly interested in the release of a terrorist from a 1980s era airline bombing. And so, like any good citizen interested in the early release of mass murderers reported to have inoperable cancer, we - just as randomly - expressed our curiosity in his release so that he might spend his last days with his family."

This to satisfy the under-educated masses who just want to hear that the all-clear has been sounded and we can all go back to Snookie and The Situation on Jersey Shore again.

You have to admire how deeply below the belt this thing has hit us.

For a piece of pure cowardice, it rivals 9-11 in dollar value, certainly.

The ultimate aim is our ruination. It is the first in a number of threats to our national security which will likely culminate in WW III. Here's a guess: the Brits will NOT be our friends in this one.

Think of the assassination of Austria's Archduke Franz Ferdinan and his wife Sofia in 1914, the event largely thought to triggered the first World War. Conspiracy? Yes it was. Those that said it was contemporaneous to the event were ridiculed as paranoid lunatics.

We have known for a few years here, that a select few in congress, prodded by plutocrats in finance, defense and the oil industry, have been keenly interested in destroying the middle class of this nation. These corrupt, soulless, treasonous swindlers have sold us all down river. Big surprise there.

This is where we find ourselves; waking up in a fox hole next to a dead body representative of our freedoms, with no ammunition and our arms tied behind our backs.

But, the good news is, we ARE waking up. This oil spill has done that. A bit of shocking overkill that is too ghastly to ignore.

The Brits bear us open contempt now. The PM David Cameron is here today to put the requisite, smiling, yet condescending, face on things. Mr. Obama, like Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, will react to his Harvard training and instinctively defer to all things British. He'll blush like a virgin, a small dog in heat, smile and accept whatever lying, head-patting explanation Mr. Cameron dreams up, or has been directed to utter, regarding the release of Mr. al Megrahi.

Perhaps Mr. Obama won't even find the stones to ask Mr. Cameron the first, simpering question regarding the event. If our president, perhaps like Thad Allen, is pretending to be an idiot coward for purely strategic reasons, he's damned good at it.

But former coup d' etat president Cheney has done this to us, of course. He and his crowd have dragged the British into our foreign policy decisions and cost them many young lives as well, and now they are angry. As they rightly should be; as angry as we should be with ourselves for not waiting, for accepting the official story too easily; for reacting in rage and anger, and in need of a straw man to burn.

The Brits don't know how to express their anger with us openly, yet. They haven't since 1812. And so their official take is silent, while the realms of equal cowardice are exploited via the oil spill, via the release of the Lockerbie bomber. This while strangely sending the Queen to our shores; a little salt in the wounds, perhaps? Or was there hope we would insult her royal person with jibes, taunts or protests?

The British establishment will continue to push for separation from us; cowardly, covertly, through goofs and insults "so sorry, really quite and truly we all are", all the while slapping us on the back, smiling, and shaking our hands. This while our young president continues to treat the Oval office as his man-cave; busying himself on smaller issues, such as golf, and where Lebron James might play basketball.

This is not to suggest the entirety of the British nation is comprised of terrorists. No. This is to state without equivocation, that there are elements within the British government who are PRECISELY that!

Might those terrorist elements include BP's top man Tony Hayward? Listen to me closely while I state it for the record: Absolutely!

The intentional injurious contempt he displayed regarding people along the Gulf Coast is totally unacceptable, suspect, rife with bad faith and, fits in precisely with this notion. Indeed there is no other logical explanation for Mr. Hayward's reaction, is there?

To essentially blame, denigrate, insult, bear hatred, pithy remarks for those your company has essentially murdered? Rendered unable to provide for themselves? To glaze over the destruction of the ecosystem with a calloused, bored jaundiced eye of upper crust cynicism; to be all those things hatefully Brit in the face of what your company has done?

We don't recognize subtle European manners which bespeak fanged aggression. Too few of us have played soccer, or are even familiar with the game. A late challenge for the ball: cleats are raked across the thigh of a defender: "Look mate, so sorry. I didn't mean it."

You have a mysteriously stopped well, on day 87? The fact the equipment to at least mostly stanch the flow was at the ready all along, doesn't register some concern within our alleged media? All along this equipment was there, usable, available, everyone making the decisions within the company knew about it, and yet there it sat while millions upon millions of gallons flowed into the Gulf of Mexico!

Add this to the unassailable fact that as many as ten things had to go wrong for this to happen in the first place and every, single one of them did.

If you offered your friend the use of your car and he "accidentally" struck ten phone poles one after the other on the way home, would you question it? If a doctor gave your aged mother not one but ten forms of wrong, poisonous medication in an afternoon leaving her in a coma, then refused to give her the one thing that might begin to heal her until day 87 would you allow yourself a moment of skepticism?

Today's meeting with Mr. Cameron should tell us much. It is either a photo opportunity with absolutely no information forthcoming or there will be some backbone displayed by our president.

If the latter is true, then at least we know all is not lost, that the course of human events for the next twenty years hasn't been pre-determined in a Bilderberg boardroom somewhere.

Also, there is a pattern to recent events that points to the distinct possibility.

Containment cap in place and no one other than Olbermann is asking why it took so long to find one that seems to work? One thing about this is, it forever obscures, if not completely covers up, the amount of crude oil leaking from the well since day one. If they get the gusher stopped, I'm all for it. However as Keith Olbermann pointed out last night,"why the hell wasn't this done before?" They had an oil expert on MSNBC also with Olbermann, a cat named Bob Canvar, who said the equipment now capping the well, is basically garden-variety gear aboard many drilling rigs, and found within every oil company. So again the big "why wasn't it done sooner?" After Olbermann asked this question, the man said that it is one of those million dollar questions that makes you slap yourself in the forehead and then pound your head on a desk.

Now, you watch; no one else will have the guts to ask it. I can feel it. This is a question too close to the heart of the matter, and possible evidence for something nefarious that BigGovCorp will never-ever-never explain, nor allow the media to dig into.

In other words, the answer to that one simple question (why did it take this long to do something this simple THAT ACTUALLY WORKS COLLECTING THE OIL?) could explain the whole deal: and we know children, BigGovCorp can't allow that. We've seen enough to know that by now, haven't we? And indeed, MSNBC's daytime anchor, who looks like a Powerball Z cartoon character, can't remember her name, just had Cavnar on again, and she RE-FUH -YOOOZED! to ask that simple question to him "why did it take this long?"

Children, THAT question is GONE! It's over! Done! Poof! You love that? If this current containment cap works, THE QUESTION WILL NEVER BE ASKED AGAIN.

Payments have been cut to half and sometimes one third to those impacted by the spill in advance of a pull out. No warning; no information provided. Imagine an old war ship menacing your town from the harbor. One morning you see the men on board, aggressively trim ship and prepare to haul ass out of there. A retreating Man-o-War. The gun ports are closed, out come the sails, the rigging is at the ready.

If BP can get away with it, they will crap out that $20 billion in escrow with about as much impact to their overall balance sheet as a gnat fart, and they will exit. Where will they go?

BP is positioning itself for a massive project in Lybia, while considering/making press noises, creative leaks about a possible bankruptcy in America and also making noises it wants to sell off assets in Alaska. I mean: HELLO?! WAKEY-WAKEY SLEEPY HEAD.

BP are working on a contract with the Gaddafi's or Godawfuls or whatever it is we call them. The prisoner from the Lockerbie Scottland Pan-Am bombing was released to the Godawfuls who rule Lybia with an iron fist. The idea was, the man was suffering prostate cancer, and so why not let him die in his homeland? Well don't you know, there is a different story coming out that BP was involved in a deal to swap the guy out for a massive oil lease in Lybia. And now other reports are surfacing that this man no more had prostate cancer than he had Ebola. An investigation is under way that will never get to the bottom of it. I mean, come the fuck on. Do you think even if they found evidence of string pulling and deal making on this level, anyone would EVER TELL YOU ABOUT IT? Get real.

All these taken together could be an indication of a strategic, fast-exit; what Hunter Thompson referred to as "a savage burn." The most savage burn in U.S. history.

CNN also awoke from their Machiavellian, good-morning-sleepy-head slumber to sheepishly ponder whether or not BP's insistence on using Corexit, THE most toxic dispersant, is related to their connections with the chemical manufacturer that makes the stuff. 2. After months of virtually ignoring the Haiti story, CNN decides with Machiavellian verve, to send Anderson Cooper to Haiti. This, just when Cooper began seriously digging into the story and was actually getting somewhere. His repeated challenges and documenting BPs refusal to go head-to-head with him, on air, inspired by what Edward R. Murrow did in challenging Joe McCarthy. But, CNN - owned by Time Warner Inc. - decided to stop Cooper from pressing on, denying the public whatever information would have fallen from the tree. Now, coverage of the Gulf resumes its plastic-smile, all-is-well pablum format. Rating? M

3. The Thad Allen sit down. CNN. The most trusted name in news decided on a sit down with Admiral Thad Allen, for whatever strange reason. Perhaps the first time in history an admiral in the US Coast Guard has been given free media reign to go over highlights of his career at the end of it. Allen is at the center of controversy. Many are of the opinion he has been far too fawning, lenient, accepting, and receptive to nonsense and lies from BP; thus, in part, putting us at day 83 of the gusher with little or no meaningful protection of our coasts, marine resources, or our coast residents in the affected region. Mr. Allen has seemingly been more interested in directing his service to help BP suppress the media. Allen continues to receive media softballs from all major media outlets. Rating? C

A Response to Florida Today

Gang it is working. Florida Today just ran a piece about how my local area BPs are experiencing a 30 percent drop in revenue. There is an active group of people here. But we face a lot of hostility from local business people, who react to activism the way a vampire does to sunlight.

Our weak-willed, caving cowardly news organ, Florida Today, is sure to provide a fig leaf of nonsense to cover up for BigGovCorp whenever it can, like it did today. I have mailed all their editors this response which they will file in the circular locator. Great thing about the internet is, I don't need them anymore. You can see my response anyway.

Regarding "BP Station Owners plead for some understanding" Florida Today, Business 8-C, July 10, 2010:

The journalistic special relativity with which Florida Today takes on the BP boycott is amusing but not surprising. We recall the Northrop-Boeing tanker-gate debacle.

Mom and Pop retailer, aka, BP’s human shields have to show between $700,000 and $1 million in ready cash depending on locale, to even be considered for a franchise. Not any mom and pop I know. These poor mom and pops likely live in Lansing Island. Cry for me Argentina: not.

Not that Mr. Price’s story thought to mention the actual economic means of “mom and pop,” what sort of poor, struggling merchants they are. Not that he thought to ask, even though it’s all over the Internet already. Or perhaps was it that an editor didn’t think this level of detail made harmonious music of the “mom and pop” lullaby.

Alright then, once again. Let’s for the sake of argument, believe FT, the latest in a long line of newsLITE™ providers, to refry this corporate hash.

The argument is that somehow, BP isn’t harmed in the least by the boycott, children. This is because BP makes no money whatsoever having its sign up above these stores. Not one dime.

We can suppose that, even in the harsh real word of facts, where these contracts with BP stipulate that mommy and daddy grocer get 5 percent of the royalties on gas sales, in our bedtime story spoon-fed by FT the other 95 percent of the money for those sales, simply evaporates? Is that it?

Certainly BP who only are in business out of the goodness of their hearts, don’t receive a dime. The money, is it donated by BP to the nuns and orphans program? Or sometimes to the charity that protects walruses ever so infrequently injured by BP’s operations in the Gulf of Mexico?

Listen, using FT fairy tale logic, lunch-counter sit-ins in Alabama should not have taken place. Why? Mom and Pop racist restaurateurs, we wouldn’t want to hurt them, would we? The Nuremberg trials needlessly interrupted German business, and makers of Zyclon-B were just trying to earn a buck and should have been permitted to ply their trade, right? Yes, poor mutter und vader, Zyclon B manufacturer. Poor them!

BP makes hardly anything off of fuel stations? What about the interest on their gas cards? No? Nothing? Nicht? Nada?

BP do make something off mom and pop and we all know it, so stop shilling. They do make something. They charge royalty fees, and interest and all sorts of other goodies all across this land. And perhaps this brings up the actual reason for the boycott: Because it is working!

1. The point is to force the retailers to switch suppliers. THAT hurts BP! BIGTIME. And it is happening in Michigan and elsewhere where PEOPLE ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE.

2. The point is also to get the retailers to turn right around and bill the company for the losses they have experienced, and THAT hurts BP. And this is happening!

3. The point might be to get the retailers to sue the parent company – why not, they have perhaps the clearest case of anyone!, and THAT hurts BP. If a pension fund can sue BP for what happened and the lost stock value, as it did in New York, why can’t the retailers? Hell, why wouldn’t they?

Did Mom and Pop ask for this? No. Are they to blame? No.

Can they get their money back from the oil giant? Yes they can, unlike many a struggling fisherman in the Gulf these days. Unlike many a hotelier, or a waiter or waitress, or someone who merely made the mistake of investing in BP day before the collapse.

Boycotters aren’t villains they are liberators of mom and pop from a company that is going down of its own actions!

And our government is not going to hold this company accountable. The government is going to make sure that we are short-changed. That is clear now. Why? Because BP is still the largest single provider of petrol for our ongoing war efforts. Many Dr. Strangeloves in the Pentagon will ride that puppy right into the ground, our own laws be damned.

We should force our defense department to quit the contract with BP for their numerous violations. You can't be a government contractor AND be in violation of federal laws. That’s the way the laws are currently written!

But crickets will chirp in cowardly newsrooms all across the country, on that little ditty. The editors, publishers, producers, and so on, all controlled by Big Energy and Big War will hear a train whistle at a distance of 20 miles – “hold that thought, can you hear that? Excuse me, I must check on that sound!” - before they will be able to focus in on this very salient point, that our own federal guidelines are being ignored with every violation, every dead turtle, every oiled bird, every discarded safety protocol.

Now the civic angle. What is it the paper is telling us, and why? How strange and unseemly is it for Florida Today to be openly begging customers not to exercise their right to choose the company they want to purchase from for any reason. People need to be writing down somewhere those that are on the wrong side of history. Because this paper seems to be on that page, over and over again.

I want to boycott I want to protest, and I should, we all should. BP is ruining the environment, disrupting turtle habitat and all those other things you people write about when it’s easy, when it’s a happy little evergreen story with no meat, bite or taste. Now is the time to get behind the environment, not when another entity wants to create a tax shelter, or official wants a photo op. Now!

I like boycotting. I like protesting BP. It makes me feel like I am doing something to hurt a foreign enemy, a great evil. It makes me feel like an American citizen which is what large corporations, Gannett for instance, are growing so intolerant of; the fact we are waking up to the realization that we are not drones in a corporate machine, we are all not coworkers in USA GovCorp., but citizens of the United States of America, and we don’t have to take this crap. In fact, it is our duty to fight it, to speak out, to boycott.

The arrogance BP continues to show, has metastasized into outright evil, an evil which is choking this country of ours. It is now directing our foreign policy, it is adopting and/or controlling our police powers, it is controlling our media - Gannet for instance, as evidenced by this unbalanced article. It has bribed our officials, and has met every standard of tyranny.

I want this thing dead, deceased, kaput, no more so it cannot do precisely what it is doing. So its demise provides a warning to others in the same business, so we gain some control over our lives, and so we can all clean up our act and move on.

Sorry to you, newspaper, your editors, your corporate handlers, to you, the gas station owners. I am sorry some of us have had enough and are now behaving like American citizens. Sorry, you have a problem with that...........NNNNAAAAAHT!

Listen to this mumble-fish moron. He has no authority over you. Stop listening to or engaging with corporate flunkies they are NOT law officers. Yet somehow the police aren't stopping them from impersonating law enforcement.
